Great overnight stay at The Argyle. Friendly welcome from the bartender who checked me in and my room was spotless.
The room was really welcoming with chocolates on the pillows and towels rolled like a higher star hotel.
Easy parking, good location in Moss Vale close to all amenities. Nice coffee shop across the road serving good coffee and food.
Shared bathrooms could use a little renovation love otherwise great value stay
Did not stay, upon arriving at the room found it to be stuffy and smelling of stale smoke, tried to open window for fresh air unfortunately it was in a state of disrepair and unable to stay open, returned the room key to reception and found alternate accommodation
Great pub atmosphere and good food. Bed was comfortable.

Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Room 2
Bathroom door inside had no sliding groove, no towel rail in bathroom,
No bar fridge despite description that some snacks were available.
Very helpful staff when as elderly people we needed help with luggage too and fro the hotel.
Air-condition units require updating or relocation
Feed back from worker was that the air-condition was in the window which meant that it rattled when it was on. He was forced to put a bit of cardboard in between the two to help reduce the sound so he could sleep.

It was a quaint little hotel above a neighborhood pub. The linens were clean and white. The heat was very effective. There were adequate bathrooms available. Though they were shared with all the rooms. There was no elevator. The windows were a little drafty. Breakfast was not included and dinner was not available until 5pm. The staff were friendly and helpful however.
Although it is an old building and some details could be improved as the windowsill. great effort has been put in updating the rooms and the beds were comfortable.
The biggest downfall is the noise of other patrons walking and talking in the hallway.
The staff was very friendly and caring to the clientele.

Clean and staffed ok. But a air conditioning was very loud and reverberated the wall.
They were not flexible with check-in time to allow us to to check-in prior to their 2pm check-in. This resulted in us having to check-in after going to a Day on the Green.
We arrived at the pub at 1.30 pm but they would not let us check-in any earlier.
Staff were not friendly at all.

The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. This is not a glamorous hotel but it suited us for a place to lay our head for the night.

I booked the ensuite room and it was worth it. Clean shower and the cold water was actually cool and refreshing on a really hot day. AC worked fine, bed & pillows comfy.
Was in a bit of a rush when i booked it. Have learned an important lesson. Room so small that person who sleeps on left side of bed needs to crawl over bed and partner, to get out. Door has massive gaps resulting in hearing every person who walks by. Lock? on door strengthened by paper stuffed against lock.window does not work. Previoys guest obviously a chain smoker. Toom stunk. Walls are very thin (it is a really old pub where im sure the less fortunate would rent a room) so you can hear very clearly conversations etc next door and in nearby toilet. Access and egress to the rooms is a very dodgy set of stairs. Bed wass ok but sleep almost impossible due to noise. Shared bathroom facilities average. My wife would not shower in them. If we hadn't driven 8 hours and time of evening, i would have definately found anothef place and forfeited my cash. Paid about $120 (yes know what you're thinking) & it was lycky to be worth $50. Absolutely the worst accommodation we have stayed in, in 40 years of travelling. We left next morning at 5am, couldn't wait to get out. I would suggest to all (unless you are absolutely broke) do not stay there.
