Prime location, comfortable bed, nice staff, huge TV. However, I seriously considered sleeping in the car after seeing that parking lot. It didn't seem safe to leave my car there, with all the scatchy characters wandering around. There might have been a homeless and junkie convention in town, or it just gotten so much worse since the last time I was in San Diego. At the end, good value for the money. Highly recommended if you don't plan to park there.

Water pressure was great. The bed was comfy and great television. The room had multiple outlets. However there is a clear homeless issue and they wander all over the hotel. De windows were disgusting. As a women alone I would have instantly booked something else. Airco worked but was extremeley loud, whilst my friend's airco just heated the room more.

My experience was terrible. We got in a room that had a full size bed Only 2 lights next to the bed the rest of the outlets were closed off. Found several long dark hairs not ours. Shower curtain was peeling. Towels had seen better days could see throughout. Toilet seat lose and dangerous. Towel rack of the wall. The room was a closet with a small 2×4 window was opened in hallway. Was told no other rooms available. Ice machine not working( had medicine needed to be on ice). Felt uncomfortable walking outside due homeless people living in the parking lot and on the street. Unfortunately no refund was giving!

Will not stay here again. Thankfully they refunded the remainder of my stay, but this experience was the worst thing to deal with before attending a wedding. The ceiling starting leaking at 6 in the morning. I immediately packed and checked out. Thankfully my bags weren't on the floor so they didn't get wet.

My first impression was the lobby smelled like pee & cigarettes. They say you can’t smoke but obviously smoking still happens. Do what you will with that info. Couldn’t check in early due to “cleaning, room not ready” but the room still had some spots that felt un clean. Definitely bring your own towels! Convenient walking distance to most places in the city. Close to the airport. If smell & cleanliness were taking a bit more seriously it could be a better price efficient, quick place to stay

terrible experience
homeless people hanging out by the entrance. uncomfortable walking in. the front clerk was friendly. the room was dirty. floor was sticky. bathtub had blood in it. pillows were terribly flat and uncomfortable to sleep on. it was no smoking room but it smelled like smoke, affected my allergies. would never stay here again.

I have to say this is the WORST motel I have been in, it’s now offering this like monthly rate for people with low income so you will find vagrants outside and inside, the hall it’s full of trash, the elevator smells like urine, the room smelled like cigarettes (and I don’t smoke), the towels where really old an damaged, there was no shampoo or hair conditioner, the blow dryer was burned like just exploded to someone, I had to put my sweatshirt on the pillow to sleep in it, and I had construction next door of my room so 5:45 am you can hear the workers there, have pictures of all of this if someone ask for it. About the staff the lady that check me in, was really really nice, but there was also a guy that on his shift you had to wait for him to stop smoking and come back inside to help you.

The room was clean but I would not stay there again. Hopeless all around, low life hanging around front entrance. Just not safe. The price of the room at 100 per night without a coffee pot or fride is unreal but the room was clean and ok.

The room was freezing. I had a warm drink and left it out overnight and it was like it just came out a fridge. No way to control the room temperature. Also there seemed to be homeless people staying there. Also the toilet broke during my stay. I’ve stayed here before but this was a really bad stay.

This hotel is a Godsent! I love that there is a budget friendly hotel downtown San Diego with fresh coffee and safe affordable parking on site. The room was simple but clean and had a comfortable bed. No cigarette smell! Thank you 🙏 I liked the workspace desk and TV. Loved the light blocking curtain. I was a bit guarded because I noticed way too many homeless people in the area. It’s unfortunate! I suggest you provide hair driers and shampoo and body lotion even to basic rooms. Everyone needs hygiene and soap alone is not best for hair care. Thanks!
