Place was clean and nice! Rooms were spacious with nice furniture and a balcony. My only complain was that the TVs were outdated, so we could not stream or screenplay. The wifi was also weak. But the staff was super nice and helpful! Parking was convenient but expensive. But the close proximity to the beach made it all worth it! Second time staying here and I would stay again.

I like the fact that the Wayfarer Hotel is right next to the ocean next to the boardwalk. It also has a swimming pool and hot tub that face out towards the ocean. The hotel is easy access to bike riding on the boardwalk and walking to the beach.

Amazing staff and property. Perfect location to enjoy ocean and views. Pool area was so well kept and fun. Walkable to many great dining and shopping options. Would definitely book again!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very responsive and polite. It would have been better had parking been free for guests. Having to log into the free WiFi every day was also a pain when you have multiple devices. Our room was a bit run down with no alarm in the room and a handle bar that kept falling. I would have preferred more drawer space but we made it work and lived out of the suitcases for a week. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again. We love the proximity to the beach and the restaurants around the hotel was good.

Location on Pacific Beach is excellent for watching the surf. Hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Pool is nice. Lots of places to eat and shop around the hotel. Perfect beach getaway!

We’ve stood at this hotel twice it enjoyed the stay, the only downside are the doors constantly slamming shut when some walks out of there room. The hotel it’s self is nice and clean and the beach is a couple steps away from it definitely recommend getting a room with a balcony the sunset and sunrises are beautiful.

the room is meh but you're on the beach and the parking is easy, the staff is great, there's a nice little cafe with really good chicken fingers (i mean how do you mess them up but it was a big order for not a ton of money). if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room, then you can't beat it.
