Loud workers on strike right out front yelling and beating drums all day. Used bar of soap left in the shower. Dried pee on the toilet seat. Used coffee grounds still in the coffee maker. DO NOT stay here right now.

Marriott hotel workers union (?) outside hotel hanging on steel trash cans making a lot of noise and a disturbance outside the hotel. Noise inside was pretty much nonexistent

Lovely Experience
Everyone of the employees with which we had dealings was gracious, helpful, and professional. This trip was during a city-wide hotel workers union strike which caused some inconveniences. That being said, the service of the remaining hotel staff was as good as anyone could want.

Stayed two nights during the last week of November ‘24 on the twenty second floor facing the church. Room temperature would not drop below 73 degrees even though the set temperature was set at 65. Warm room all night long. Turns out the air conditioner needed a part to be replaced. We checked out before they got a chance to replace it. The View bar was closed during our stay because of a labor dispute (big disappointment). This hotel has a daily destination fee of $30 (aka daily ripoff fee) that you might be able to get back via a credit by visiting the View bar, but of course, that was closed during our stay. (Already prepaid for breakfast at B55 [restaurant inside], so couldn’t use credit on that.) Valet parking was very reasonable at $91.00 per night—NOT (had stuff in the car and nothing was taken so security is good). Only one door open to the hotel (maybe because of labor dispute) and someone is checking for a room keycard when entering so security inside the hotel is solid. Elevator only works with room keycard (good). Breakfast buffet was including in our package and was nice. It was upscale—definitely not like the breakfast buffet at Howard Johnson’s. Free TV channel options very limited. Netflix was the only streaming option. The room was pleasant, nothing spectacular. It seemed unusually quiet which was nice. Neighborhood is sketchy, in my opinion, homeless—excuse me, temporarily unhoused—are everywhere.

Beautiful hotel. The employess were all very friendly. We had a little bit of trouble w the restaurant as well as the coffee shop getting our orders wrong all 3 times we went to them. Theres a small store insude next to the grab and go that literally has everything you could need, from insoles to underwear. If you need more than what theyve got, Target is right across the atreet. I would definitely stay there again
