Perfect for my visit’s purpose. Room is small as expected but comfortable. You hear every noise going on around you. Flush buttons on toilet were loose so kept filling cistern unless adjusted. Bed very comfortable. Water pressure in shower fantastic. Night staff was very friendly but others seemed merely functional. Disappointed that I had to go to reception to ask for towels. No apology that they weren’t in the room. Expensive for what you get but predicting that the room was more expensive than usual due to Mardi Gras being on. Hotel was a 10/15 minute walk to Belvoir Street Theatre which was really convenient. Seeing a play there was the purpose of my visit.

my partner and I will use hotel hacienda from time to time as it’s the most convenient location to be for our visits to Sydney - it’s clean, the beds are soft and comfy, it’s convenient as hell with a short walk to Redfern station and it’s incredibly budget friendly. The prices on weekends are a bit of a rort but you literally will not find a place cheaper in Sydney over a weekend that is this close to everything. Staff are lovely and usually let us check in early if it’s a weekday or a Friday - we’ll be back many many many more times as the years rolls by.

Perfect hotel and location to rest your head
Absolute perfect stay. Very good value and great location, only a five minute walk from Redfern station which gets you into the city centre in 12 minutes. Also connected with bus routes, short walk to Broadway which has tonnes of shops and restaurants. Hotel itself the staff were all so nice and accommodating. Our room was even ready at 9:30am which was a nice surprise. For the price you really couldn’t go wrong, the rooms are small but the aircon works well and the beds are comfortable after a long day out and about so that’s what suited us. It’s not a hotel you would be lounging in all day but served its purpose for us perfectly. Loved it!

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff were lovely and helpful and hotel was good location. Room was smallish but I already knew that when booking. The walls are pretty thin and you hear the trains, showers/plumbing and people opening and closing doors. Bring ear plugs. Enjoyed the tacos from the restaurant in the hotel too. I'd stay here again.

The staff were nice and helpful. Its has convenient location, close to both airport and central station. But the matres was uncomfortable and our room was next to storeroom including the towels and the cleaning staff made too much noise in the early morning. We could hear all the noises from corridor and the trains as well.

Really lovely staff, good communication and a funky budget hotel. Love the Spanish vibe! Comfy beds, hot showers with good water pressure. Central location, good hotel for a short stay. I've stayed twice in the past two weeks and will book again.

A cute budget hotel. Bed surprisingly comfy. Train noise very loud. I’d recommend bringing very good ear plugs. Big chunk of someone’s hair and dust in my room, otherwise it was clean. Foyer restaurant looked great. Central location.

The property was close to everything. The staff did not make the bed and empty the rubbish on a daily basis. I had spent time at the hospital and returned to see the bed unmade and room not cleaned. The staff only emptied the bin, the bed was made twice in 7 days i had stayed. A different place from when I stayed years ago.
