PERFECT LOCATION, WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. A microwave may have been handy though. Good views from the room. Rooms were quiet and didn't hear any outside noises. It had a lovely restaurant and bar with nice seating outside too. Breakfast was delicious too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again as the location is perfect. Parking was expensive though.

Paid a small fortune for a queen bed room and it was an absolute ripoff. Essentially just a box with a bed. I booked this Ibis thinking it would be nicer than the ibis budget, but for the price tag for one night, the rooms are lame

Disappointing
Firstly we were changed $46 for 1 night parking when there is no mention of a fee on either the hotel website or hotels.com. We had a dirty coffee cup, no wine glasses and a terrible drain smell in the bathroom which seemed to get worse overnight. I was woken up very early by washing machines and a strong smell of laundry detergent. The bathroom was very small and there was a lack of power points in the room. I mentioned these things when checking out and the staff member said that he was sorry.

The staff were friendly and happy to accomodate our early check in and late check out. Unfortunately the floors hadn’t been cleaned, other aspects appeared to be cleaned. No extra bedding in case you were cold.

I had not been back to the Sydney Olympic Park since attending various events in 2000. The place has utterly transformed. The Ibis Hotel is very handily located near the train station and there are many eateries close by. Great location.

The property was great But wotif let it down. The reservation was done under a business and was meant to have the business card that the booking was made linked to the room but unfortunately it was not done so some of the workers had to pay with their own money. Not happy at all with this Don’t think I’ll be using worif again.

Stayed in the hotel because my daughter had a competition in Olympic Park. After a long day of competing returned to the room to discover there was no hot water in the shower. Called to reception and there was noone available to fix it and no rooms to be swapped into, so neither my daughter nor I could shower at all during our stay. We were offered breakfast to compensate, but we needed to get on the road early so couldn't take this up. I was offered a $50 refund at checkout (on a $300 room) which was insufficient but there was no manager available upon checkout to discuss the issue with and my name and number was taken but noone ever contacted me. When i followed up, there was noone available again and I was assured someone would be in touch. In the end I was refunded a third of the room rate without any follow up from the hotel - but I still feel like this wasn't enough. the whole point of a hotel is a shower and a bed. the lack of customer service left a bad taste and i wont be staying here again.
