I live in the Northern Beaches and booked my granddaughter and her son into the Killara Inn to be close to The Royal North Shore Hospital where my great grandson was due to have an eye operation early next morning. Unfortunately when my granddaughter dropped in to pick up her key she was viewed with a great deal of suspician and in a very unfriendly manner by being presented with a form to fill in without adequate explanation...then asked to provide an ID...then when she placed "one adult and child" on the form she was accusingly asked " and who is that person out in the car?"...to which she replied " my grandfather who has driven me here"..having just travelled from Hobart, Tasmania and Mascot for the eye operation this totally unfriendly reception brought my granddaughter to tears. Apart from this experience the room was clean but there was no lift to our room on the first floor but only stairs...for which reason we shall never stay here again.
The room was clean, quite large and well sound insulated so any noise from the nearby highway was very minimal. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and blockout curtains made for a pleasant stay.
On the downside a few little things, the chairs aren’t very comfortable and there was minimal tea/coffee supplies, (would’ve liked more than two plain teabags). Steep stairs which made carrying luggage a little difficult for us oldies but on the whole the property was clean and conveniently located.
The staff were so professional, polite and welcoming. The level of accomodation and food in the dining room well exceeded expectations. We would definitely stay again. Thank-you
Good clean roomy accomodation, comfy beds decent sitting area, nice Brekky reasonably priced. Only issue is not enough parking we came back late after a show and just managed to squeeze in others after us not so lucky

I was unhappy about how I was treated the following day
Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Room is a good size and spotlessly clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Bathroom is clean and the shower is great. Lots of powerpoints, bedside light and reading light. No road noise or guest noise even though the motel was full. Onsite parking some undercover and its free. This is our third stay and will be back again.
Property was easily accessible. The rooms were clean and tidy. The bathroom was good and the shower was very strong. We had a room with three people in it and there was enough room between to be comfortable. The area has some great old houses to look at if you’re interested as well.
