We booked a “Deluxe Strip View King” two months in advance of our trip. When we arrived, the front desk told us that they sold out of King rooms and strip views. Instead of our King room with a view of the Vegas strip, they placed us in a Queen room with terrible views. They said that if we had arrived earlier in the day, we could have got our room. They continue to sell the rooms even if they are all already booked, which is obviously super shady.
When we headed up to our room (not the room we actually booked), we noticed that it was not very clean, lots of dust. However, the worst part was when we got into bed and pulled up the comforter. On the comforter, right next to my face was crusty blood stains. These were not old stains. This was new and crusty. Clearly the comforter had NOT been washed. We called the front desk to ask for a new comforter and explained that there was blood on it. They said it would be up right away. After 20 minutes had passed, we called again. This time the lady who answered was super rude and told us that she could not give us a timeframe as to when someone could bring us a new comforter. She was not apologetic and did not show any concern whatsoever. I explained we really needed to go to sleep, but that it was not acceptable to sleep in a bed with a bloody comforter. She did not care and we ended up sleeping with it. Disgusting and unprofessional. To say our experience at Aria hotel was horrific is an understatement.
