Our number 1 reason is the overall cleanliness of the property, also, it's far enough from Vegas the when you head home your ahead the the usual traffic rush, The only draw back was our view from our window was the side of the adjacent building which seemed like it 20 feet away, we were not informed of this when we made our reservations, while we realize there have to be rooms such as these, one possible solution in our opinion would be some kind of mural on the adjacent wall, or maybe a free meal or something like that, But overall that will not stop us from staying there when we got to Vegas

A fun place to stay in Vegas
Overall we had a very good experience here. Pros: nice gym and pool facilities, so much to do (bowling, equestrian center, casino, movie theatre, etc.), free drinks while gambling, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great price. Cons: the decor was slightly dated, the cigarette smoke in the casino wasn't enjoyable, location was off the main Vegas strip.

South Point rocks
This property is in incredible condition. As you walk into the casino you can slightly smell smoke. We asked for a smoke free room and it was awesome. Great view from the 15th floor, quiet and super clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet for only $14.95. Best deal in Vegas.

Holiday weekend trip.
Overall happy with the stay. There are lots of things to do for families as well as for adults. Room service was just ok. We requested room cleaning two days but the second day they failed to execute. Restaurants are good specially the Coronado Cafe and the Japanese restaurant. Very unhappy with the pool service. Lifeguards are very militant and super strict. To the point of staring and intimidating kids with whistles. I understand they want to keep everyone safe but this is not a nice way to go about it. At check in they gave us a room that had a depressing view of a hallway. As soon as I requested a change they complied.

This is our favorite place to stay in Vegas. We are past the strip life and for families you can't beat SP! So many options to dine in we love them all. We make weekend trip just to eat at Zenshin, and DonVitos. Rooms are so spacious, clean, and staff are so welcoming. Bowling, movies and arcade are great for families, as well as the pool and the gym (and they do ask minors to leave the gym they should change that rule if with parents)! We have spend weekend get aways without leaving SP and love it each time.

This hotel offers amenities such as a beautiful pool area, movie theatre, bowling, arcade, equestrian etc. Not to mention a great variety of dining options. Everything you need in one place. What would be nice is if they offered entertainment, whether music or comedy, for evening options. But other than that great stay.
