Great Hotel
Visiting Vegas for a pin striping class my husband was taking and wanted to find something close. The hotel was very nice. One of the perks of a older hotel is that the rooms are large, it was nice and clean and updated. The bathroom had a ton of counter space which was very nice. We ate at two of the hotel restaurants and they were both delicious. We will stay here again.

Much to like - clean; easy and free parking; convenient ride share pickup; the security at the elevator. We were a little frustrated that early check-in would cost $25 (we passed and held our luggage) and room service wanted to charge $10 to bring us two wine glasses (really??). Other than that, all was fine.

The room was clean and comfortable enough. The lobby however, got a strong smell of cigarette from the adjacent casino, which made it unpleasant for someone who is sensitive to cigarette smoke. We paid the upcharge for a room with city view, but all we got was the view of the highway traffic behind the hotel. According to the staff, any view out from higher floors was considered "city view", even if it was the view of the highway. They did switch us to a room with proper view of the city after we complained, but it would've been nicer if we didn't have to go through the hassle.
