If you are looking for a modern, updated, reasonably priced "hotel" in Mayfair, this is not the hotel. First, this is not a hotel--its a set of 9 apartments that are now labeled as a hotel. This is much more Airbnd vs hotel. If you go in thinking Airbnd, you will have a lovely time.
There is no "service". My first interaction with the front desk person (only employee I ever say) was to ask if they could call me a cab. They advised me to walk across the street and have the Hilton Bellman call me cab. I'm sure Hilton would be happy to hear that.
I asked about early check-in, not an issue if not able to accommodate, but they did state they would be able to hold my luggage in a secure area until I could check-in. This is not accurate. Luggage was just lined up against the wall--lots of luggage. Anyone could walk up and take a bag with no one being the wiser.
Room was always clean, but staff did not care that the bathroom sink leaked. I mentioned it to the front desk person twice. Bed was comfortable and room was ok, but just well worn. My room door was right off the elevator, but always quiet. Just a couple a of loud moments, but it was a Saturday night so no issue.
