This property is not at all what is advertised. The bathroom was not clean. There was blood or other matter on the walls. The carpets were disgusting. I don’t recommended this property to anyone, especially a women travelling alone as the doors didn’t even close properly. The “towels” provided were see through, the pillows are non-existent. The proximity to King’s Cross was the only appealing thing about this hotel and in the future I would stay farther away to avoid this place. If we hadn’t paid for this before hand we would have checked out immediately but didn’t want to loose out on that money since this hotel was grossly over priced and over rated when we booked.

The walks are very thin and hallways noisy, just okay for
This property was zero percent of what I had expected. There are signs stating that breakfast was not being served due to COVID, televisions that do not work, remotes that do not work, and beds that feel like they are well over a hundred years old (I’ll exaggerate slightly on this as they exaggerated in their ad about it being comfortable). While I understand that London is busy, there are HUNDREDS of better hotels. Honestly, I think that sleeping under the bridge would be more comfortable. The staff was kind, however this owner/manager should really consider the fact of how things impact others, such as having lifts that do not feel safe etc. Further—I have even heard some of the staff talking about how they have poor reviews removed so they can still keep their ratings—so do not trust the stars they have as there may be many other poor reviews they have worked to remove.
Our room was ground floor street side. Traffic noise was terrible throughout the night. Motorcycles racing, sirens, etc. No AC, so we needed an open window, but had to make do with a fan. No smoking inside the hotel, but we had to walk through smoke to get inside. Hotel staff and others stood near the door to smoke. Advertised that they have a restaurant, but there isn’t one. Bed was ok, but pillows were hard. Towels old and thin. I would not stay here again.

In theory there's nothing fundamentally wrong with the hotel but just my particular visit and room wasn't so good.
The friendly receptionist made the check-in process easy. The lift worked and at first glance the room seemed OK - clean room, sheets and towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, WiFi, etc. But as I settled in I started to notice the flaws.
The room was far too hot but if I opened the window it was too noisy outside. The TV wouldn't switch on. The bed was far too hard for my comfort level. The shower water pressure was very disappointing. But the worst part were loose floorboards above me that squeaked as the guests in the room above walked around and they didn't settle down until well after midnight, so I could finally settle down to sleep too - only to be woken up by the fire alarm siren in my room sounding for a couple of seconds just before 2am. It woke me up with such a start that it took me another hour to get back to sleep - mainly because the people above me had obviously been woken up too!
I realise most of problems might be room specific so your milage might vary but I can't forgive the fire alarm incident and I won't be staying there again.
The facility is not to the mark as is shown on the photos. Certainly not value for money that is charged. Inconvenient size and placement of Bath fittings, safety escape routes not clearly marked, No phone in room (for inhouse communications), Limited info exchange at front desk, etc.
The bathroom shower was a bad design. One rotating tap with no indication of how to use it. Lever hard to get good temperature without getting cold water first. Shower head too high on wall and cannot be moved. Should be changed for hand wand type which would be better to hold. 12092024 date.
