What an incredible experience for the first time being in London!! This hotel is so conveniently located down the street from the subway it’s about 2 minute walk! TONS of stuff to do in the area as well!

Assembly is in a good location, close to train stops, and walkable to Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and The British Museum. The staff was friendly and there is a restaurant on the top floor that has an English breakfast buffet then Mexican for lunch/dinner with a great view. The best unexpected treat was the pastel de nata Santa Nata. This is a must stop if you are in the area. Drawbacks: the shower dripped for hours after use. The light switches were all connected somehow, so some only worked when others were on. The shower door didn’t close all the way so the floor would get wet.

We asked Expedia to contact Hotel well in advance and tried to change reservation to the Fall of the year. Several days went by and Expedia could never get in touch with Hotel. We are very disappointed that Expedia is just a booking platform with no relationship with its vendors and an inability to solve common issues for its customers. I’ll book direct from now on!
