There was 8 of us in our group, not all rooms were available so we left bags and left for lunch. I received an Email a couple of hours later to say the hotel was overbooked and the rooms were no longer available??! This must have been a mistake as we had already checked and we called reception to check, we were told it was your error and you did have rooms for us, very confusing and we were then a little worried as we weren’t arriving back at the hotel until much later.

Great property in a cool location. The staff were amazing, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Rooms were small but had all the facilities we were after, comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast is well worth booking when you book your room
Would recommend the hop on / off buses combined with the riverboat tour
Hyde park did a great job for the Neil young concert

We was put in the lower ground room and there was a new bathroom, but poor workmanship and finish. When you opened the curtains, you found pallets outside your window. I did feel like we had been put in the servants rooms. The door was stiff with a narrow hallway with wardrobe as you enter the room. Carpets us you go to the room are in poor condition. Main entrance before get into reception really need a good clean and steps not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The hotel is beautiful and in a really great location. Service was great, really helpful. I booked a twin room and it was absolutely tiny. If you have more than check in luggage I think it would be difficult to store. Amenities for room were great, but seriously I have been in Tokyo (Shinjuku) hotels with larger rooms. I liked the hotel but don’t think I could stay there again unless alone

The location of the property was excellent, just opposite Hyde Park, however the rooms were extremely small and awkward with some steep steps from the bathroom up to the bed area which could present a problem if getting up in the night. The air conditioning was very efficient which was ideal as it was very hot when we stayed and the room was clean. For an overnight stay this hotel was adequate but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer as there was limited space to hang clothes, or store toiletries in the bathroom.

There was one young lady at the desk who was very friendly. Unfortunately the one who checked me in was very curt. The staff in the dining room was quite nice and helpful. The interior of the hotel reflected a historical beauty. Within walking distance was church, shops and dining.

This hotel was underwhelming. The room was very small. Difficult to manage bags for two people. There was no shower door or curtain which meant water went everywhere in the bathroom. The beds were hard. The pillows were small and hard and after requesting extra pillows twice, none were delivered. The front desk gent was not helpful and we seemed to be an inconvenience to him. It's only redeeming qualify was the tube access with two stations very close.

Bed was too soft for my liking, probably needs replacement. Very convenient location to two tube stations and multiple grocery stores. Very regal lobby.
