The property is in a very good central location near Oxford Street. The public transportation is also nearby. Lots of shops and food places. The set up of the property is divided. Our place was across the mermaid hotel entrance. They had rooms service every day with fresh towels which was excellent. The only complaint is that we had no WiFi. We had to step out into the stairwell to get any connection. And even then, it was very poor. I have a phone carrier with weak overseas data so it was paramount that I had WiFi. Unfortunately this was a big minus. The rest of the stay was good.

For this money in central London this is an excellent place to stay. Our room was clean, functional, quiet and air-conditioned. The beds were comfortable and the shower good. The reception staff are helpful and pleasant. The accommodation is relatively basic as you would expect at this price point but you can pay a lot more for very little extra.

What a terrible place to stay in. The stairs are so narrow and long. Carried all 3 heavy luggage’s and it was so difficult. The owner was rude and not helpful at all. Room was so small.

Our stay started off disappointing as we carried all of our bags up the narrow stairwell to check in, only to find out that our room was not even in the same building, but across the street instead. However, we arrived to our private & HUGE family room with plenty of beds and space. The shower was perfect & was in its own room with sink/mirror. The toilet was in another room with sink/mirror making it convenient for multi-person sharing. The wifi was strong and beds were cozy. The only things that bothered us were the dirtiness of the walls/couch and the unclear layout of the hotel. Otherwise, we were quite happy with how it turned out! I would definitely recommend the family rooms for other groups of travelers!

It was a really good location. Near things I wanted to see and very close to a couple of underground stations. The room was small but fine for one night. I would stay here again There were only 3 negatives. 1. The man at the desk did not have the best customer service. It wasn’t bad it was just not good 2. The room was different from the pictures online. The bathroom was smaller looking. I didn’t need much but I would appreciate accurate photographs 3. There were very steep narrow stairs to get to the room. If you had health problems or large heavy luggage, this could be a problem. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me but I would have liked to have known

The guy at the desk was friendly. Plenty of space for my family of 4. The fire alarm went off one night. Although inconvenient. Very happy it was nothing. It was handled well.

In a fairly convenient position- if not walkable, then the Tube and other transport in London is fantastic. The hotel was pokey, tired and fairly clean (shower was not). The daily room service was nice and the manager was helpful.
