Check in was initially slow as there seemed to be issues with the people in front of us but once we got up to the desk our check in was quick and easy. Staff were polite and we were able to drop our bags off before we checked in and after checking out. Room was clean and bed and sofa bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean but in need of some updating. Enjoyed food and drinks in Humphreys Bar. Our only issue was on our last night the men in the next room were extremely noisy and seemed to be moving furniture around which was very odd but this was obviously not the hotel's fault and we didn't bother to complain as we were checking out the next day. Perfect position as only a couple of minutes from tube station. Would stay here again.

Would not stay here again. Bathroom floors were dirty and tiles were chipped and scratched. Loud noises coming from vents. Furniture was dated and odd smell in the room. Staff very unhelpful after waiting over an hour after check in time.

The Millennium Gloucester London was a nice property to stay at while we visited London. The staff members were nice and attentive. There was only one maid who was not pleasant when I asked for towels. The hotel lobby is immaculate and smells very nice. We pre-purchased the breakfast plan, it was nice, but the food was the same everyday. I would’ve like a little more variety. I would caution against purchasing, instead venture out and explore what the pubs/restaurants have to offer for daily breakfast. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Millennium Gloucester.

Basic room, bed and bedding bad for a 4star, no effective ventilation, a small mobile unit with only a fan function operating, no cooling. Lifts always a long wait with one out of order and a reception area always packed . Not a pleasant ambiance .

Quiet, clean, conveniently located.
I was given a wonderful upgrade to a very spacious room with all amenities. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, as I do every time I stay here! The room was clean and very quiet and I highly recommend this hotel. It’s steps away from the Gloucester tube station and a short walk to the V&A and natural history museum.

Tried this again despite a bad experience before. It was ok - it’s a great location - but its age is showing - particularly in public areas and bathrooms. If you get for a good price - worth staying.

Overall the experience was wonderful. I would have liked to have wash clothes available and it was difficult getting into and out of the tub. Otherwise the time spent was awesome. Great location also.

Arrived just on check in time (3pm) to be told our room wasn’t ready - waited around without being offered anything in recompense- asked again after waiting for an hour with no update - told it would be at least another half hour - we had to ask if we could store our bags securely until our room was ready - room when we eventually got in was okay - air con v noisy - breakfast buffet had a good choice - I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
