Synopsis: This is the perfect hotel for quickly seen all the sites in London. It is clean, has modern décor, great staff, and without a doubt the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
.
Location – This is across the street from Trafalgar Square, there are 2 museums literally across the street. Easy walking distance to the parliament, Westminster abbey, convent garden, Churchill war rooms, London horse guards and Leicester square. A 20 min walk to Buckingham palace (tube is faster). Embankment and Charing Cross tubes are within 4 min walk, Leicester square tube is about a 12 min walk.
.
Quietness - A major concern I had before arrival was the noise level being across the street from Trafalgar square, this was very quickly alleviated. These must literally be the most soundproof rooms I have ever stayed in. Thousands of people could be in Trafalgar, and you don’t hear a whisper.
.
Lobby – Page8 does have a unique lobby. The lobby is essentially a café. A good one too. The staff is exceedingly helpful on any request. We ate breakfast in the café several times, they have a very good scrambled eggs on croissant with bacon. They carry an assortment of pastries.
.
Wi-Fi- I use Wi-Fi a lot on vacations, the Wi-Fi here did not disappoint. It was never interrupted the entire length of our 2 week stay. Streaming was no issue.
.
Nitpicks – The frig was mainly made for drinks and the pillows compressed down to much for me (however my wife liked them).
