Towels could be cleaner. The ones provided at the beginning of my stay had several stains on them. Otherwise, the stay was great, helpful staff and easy check in and check out process

Compact, clean and central
Needed to stay close to Liverpool Street Station, so this was ideal. Reception service is automated, but there were friendly staff on hand to assist. Room was a compact, “no windows” space - exactly as I had booked, which was clean and reasonably equipped, though be aware it’s difficult to work from the room, as there is no desk/seat combo!

Some of the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. The walk from Liverpool Street station for Stansted airport was convenient. Close to good dining and pubs. However, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. We arrived at 2:40 and were told our rooms were being cleaned. At 3:10 we were allowed to the rooms. Upon entering room 60, we were greeted with drain flies in the room and the bathroom (I find it hard to believe that the maids didn’t see them while cleaning our room just 30 minutes prior?!?!? I told the front desk and there must have been a language barrier because the one girl just laughed at the fact I was concerned about bugs in the room and the man said maintenance would check the next day!!! So I killed a most of them however the next morning when we opened the bathroom door there were many more and the bathroom smelled like sewer! Thankfully I went to the front desk and Maria moved our room immediately to a vacant room just next door! I don’t understand how the hotel staff can knowingly put people in a room with constant pest problems. Not another chance I’d be willing to take. I think another hotel would get my business next time around.

Great location. It’s 5 mins walk to the tube and there’s plenty of restaurants in the area. It’s safe and walkable. Although if you’re expecting a bigger room space and window with a view, this is not it. The room is small but has what you need if you’re planning to be out to explore all day. They also don’t have an early check in so you have to wait until 3pm and they charge to keep your luggage at the concierge.

The room is an efficiency and perfect for a short trip where there is no intention to stay in the room. Go out and explore! The location is so close to markets and all that Shoreditch has to offer. If you have large bags or a fear of small places this might not be the right choice. If you are heavyset the shower might not be comfortable though it’s fully functional! For a quick one night this room and location can’t be beat. My lower rating is based on the NOISE. I was on the third floor in a windowless room (I knew this going in) and near a fire door that banged open and closed all night, making sleep a bit difficult. Had they created a soft close door or added white noise I would have rated higher.

Loved this hotel! Room was perfect for myself and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler being in London for the first time. Close to transit and walkable to most of the popular tourist spots. If I go back to London, I will stay here again!
