I have stayed in this hotel before as a single. But this time the room was so tiny there wouldn’t have even been space for a handbag let alone my suitcase. Lift was out of order and tiny room was on third floor. This room should not be sold at all. Would just fit the vacuum cleaner that blocked the hallway.

We chose the Queensway Hotel primarily for its convenient location to Paddington Station. It is within an easy walking distance. The hotel is in a restored an updated row of old Victorian townhomes & is rather quaint looking on the outside. The inside is very plain with basic decor, but we did find it very clean. Our room was small as expected by the description. There is no air conditioning & we happened to arrive during a heat wave & our room was stiflingly hot. We had two tiny hand held fan that we travelled with & that was our only breeze. During cooler weather it would probably be fine. The bathroom was larger than expected but didn't have any kind of shelf to put toiletries on, so that was somewhat inconvenient having to step out each time to get the necessary items to apply makeup etc. The desk in the room was attached to the wall in the corner with a mirror hung on the wall over it but perpendicular to the desk. That was the only place to plug in a curling iron to fix my hair, but I had to sit at the opposite end of the desk to see myself. The staff however, was very accommodating & had checked in advance to see if we had any special requests. Told them I couldn't do many steps so they placed us on the first floor. The elevator only covers three floors. Price was fair given its location & for a couple of nights, it was a place to sleep. Likely would not choose it again mostly because of no AC.

When I asked the front desk clerk if the would arrange a cab for us back to the airport I got the biggest run around of an answer anyone has ever given me. He only had one number to call and it wasn’t working. Really? In the city of London you only know ONE taxi service? I wound up doing Uber but my gosh that was negative customer service experience.

Staff was extremely helpful. We were warmly received and shown our room and how to operate the hot water, windows, etc. We liked the three twin bed option for three people. Great value for the money. We would stay here again.

Great for a short stay.
The location is excellent for a stay in London. Close to restaurants and the train station. Our room was very very small. The shower was difficult to get in and out of. Bed was comfortable. Great budget selection

Lovely building in fantastic location. Victorian building , so there are steps to take even with the lift. May not be suitable for everyone. Our room even has steps down to the bathroom from our actual room. (Private and attached, just down a small staircase). There is no AC. Our room was in the back with no airflow and it was hottest day of the year so it was quite uncomfortable . Fans were provided. Overall a good value

It was perfect for what we needed. Clean, safe, friendly staff and super easy access to Paddington station and a great place from which to walk all over London. Would absolutely stay here again.

Good location for Hyde park
Great location however let down as the shower was scalding hot and wouldn’t cool down at all and the room was unbelievably hot, there were fans but this just moved the hot air around. Breakfast is basic, cereal, eggs and toast. Nice staff but needs updating and air con!

Quiet and good location
Recently modernised room, with aircon, though some people in our party had aircon that didn't work. Bathroom was compact, but served it's purpose well. Importantly the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Basic breakfast (eggs [cook your own], fried eggs, bagels and pastries, as well as yogurt and cereal, jam and butter etc. Property does have a lift, though this takes you to an "in-between" level, meaning you then have to either walk up 14 odd steps or down 14 odd steps! Staff all pleasant. Good WiFi. Handy location (6 min walk) from Paddington or Lancaster Gate tube. Would certainly stay again.

Book a 2nd floor not top floor as attic twin room is below a noisy water tank it kept us up all night. Dinash was very helpful and moved us into a quieter room for the second night. Bathrooms are tiny. Property in need of an update. Plug sockets in bedroom didnt work, hairdryer was broken. The venue is ideal for Paddington station and hyde park.

My daughter and I had an awesome stay at this cozy hotel. Just be aware, the rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny (not sure if all rooms are the same), there is barely room to turn around in the bathroom. But it’s clean, safe, and breakfast hit the spot! Super convenient to the Underground and rail stations. Very walkable to a lot of great spots too.
