Nice little hotel!
First hotel on our 3 week trip across London, Paris, and Italy. Hotel staff was really great, super helpful and kind. Had some good chats and got good recommendations for local food. Leaving bags with reception both before and after we checked in/out was easy and made life a lot easier. The hotel is right over the Paddington train line, so every 10 minutes from 5:30am to 11:59pm the whole room shakes and rattles. Not a huge issue for us as we are deep sleepers and used to trains, but very unexpected. Overall happy with our stay,

Great proximity to Paddington, nicely updated, and very comfortable. If you’re on the ground floor, you can hear the train rumbling underneath… Was not a problem for us, but might be for others

The room at the basement level is next to a garbage dumping area, and the environment is terrible. I upgraded it to another room, but there is no chair ( not even a stool chair). I asked the staff several times before I finally got one.

The room was tiny but spotlessly clean! Close to both Paddington train and subway, less than a 5 minute walk. The street was quiet and our room overlooked a green little park. The staff were kind and helpful.

If you’re looking for a simple place to sleep in a convenient location, look elsewhere. This hotel is right above a tube line so you’ll be up from 6ish, whether you like it or not. The plumbing system is also very noisy and disruptive. I’m well travelled and have stayed everywhere from hostels to hotels. This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I feel like I haven’t slept a wink and my head is pounding. In addition, staff were terrible and outright lied to me. I asked if I could switch to these floor as my friend and the guy at reception told me they’re fully booked. I searched on my phone and there were plenty of rooms available. He then said it might have been possible if I checked in earlier. I checked in at 3.06pm and check in opens at 3pm, this was the earliest time possible. My friend said her floor seemed quite empty so im not sure why I was lied to. The two positives are location and cleanliness. But I’d just prefer a quiet room and a lie in!

The hotel area was quiet and had such easy access to Paddington station which was nice. My husband and I chose the cozy double but were quite surprised at the bathroom setup. The door was glass and while it was frosted it wasn’t completely hidden. There definitely was not a lot of room for privacy. We had trouble with our ac working a couple of nights but other than that the hotel was perfect for what we needed it for.

Around the corner from Paddington
First, this location was really convenient to Paddington Station. The place was clean and well maintained. One thing I would have to say is the rooms are very "cozy". There is not a lot of room to walk around. My one issue was having the A/C unit blowing right on my head the whole night because of where it is located in the room. Besides that, it was a great place to stay and would probably consider staying here again.

1) The shower room equipped with a metal shower gal/shampoo holder on the wall and that thing is having exposed metal ring which would like to cut your skin while bathing in such a small space. They should be replaced. 2) ventilation not working.

I have a room on the lower ground floor which backed on to an alleyway where rubbish was stored. Gates were open to allow access to anyone, and single glaze sash window was unlocked upon arrival. Meaning anyone could have been in the room. The underground shook the room every few minutes. To be honest it reminded me of blues brothers movie. There was relative silence between 1230 and 5am before the underground started up again. Fine hotel, good location, but don’t stay in the basement rooms.

Very clean hotel, very conveniently located 5 mins walk from Paddington Station, which is 15 mins from Heathrow on the Heathrow Express. Try not to book a basement room as the noise of the Tube trains every few mins is a bit annoying.

Room was a bit small. The positives. Really polite staff, very helpful. Good location, close to the Paddington station. Bath room appears renovated and was spacious. The negatives, Internet did not work well, unable to stream anything without problems. Very dusty and dirty behind the desk with old utensils covered in dust. Bathroom sink partially clogged, leaving debris in the bowl after the very slow draining. Room was a bit small, always bumping into something. Did advise the front desk clerk who stated she would pass my notes a long to management.

This was my 2nd stay here. Newly refurbished. Nice, friendly & clean. Perfect location near Paddington station and walking distance to Hyde Park and other transport. Definitely recommend.
