The Montague on the Garden is pure joy.
Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Conveniently located near everything that we wanted to do on this trip, the Montague provided all the comfort and cleanliness that we desired. The hotel was attractive in its design and the entire staff was more than friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as well as beautifully designed . If time allows you, joining the afternoon tea is a must. I would also highly recommend and evening at the leopard bar. Superb ambiance, friendly staff , and the opportunity to mingle with other guests and visitors. Please get yourself a leopard martini, you won’t be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.

The hotel is the quintessential classic British hotel. Charming decor, attentive and friendly staff, and immaculately clean and well kept. The location can’t be beat - it’s directly across from the British Museum, a short walk to Coventry Garden and a quick walk through Russell Square to the Underground. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

Excellent, well-located London hotel.
Excellent hotel within a stone's throw of the British Museum and also well placed for Covent Garden and the West End. Room was small, as is usual for a standard room in London but we were only staying for one night, so it was a deliberate choice not to pay more for a larger one. The room itself was nicely decorated with a lovely shower room and comfortable bed. Bonus points for a hairdryer with a long lead and a socket positioned next to a mirror. All members of staff were friendly and a particular shout out to Mustafa the Concierge who was delightful. Highly recommended hotel.

I had very much looked forward to my stay here, the stay was wonderful and did NOT disappoint. My room was ready upon arrival, clean and a view of the garden. Georgia at the front desk was great throughout my stay. Abi the concierge was so helpful and delivered a bag BA had lost directly to my room himself when it arrived. The two staff members I mentioned are outstanding. I'll definitely stay again.

Placed in a wonderful position in London the hotel was elegant yet homely, warm and welcoming. By the second day I was greeted by name by staff. My room had a shower stall with all the grooming aids at hand . The bed was heavenly after a day of sightseeing.

The room was very comfortable and the staff is excellent, paying attention to the smallest of details to make guests feel welcome (fresh cookies in the room upon arrival!) The hotel has a lot of character and charm too. It's within walking distance of shopping, theatres, museums. I would definitely stay here again!

Ok
Very friendly welcome and our room was available earlier than the stated check in time. Hotel is in a great location with tube stations within walking distance. The downside was the size of the room which was cramped. A further negative was the temperature control in the room. There was a loose bedside plug socket that needs addressing. Discretionary tip added to the bill is a bit cheeky (£15). We would stay here again based on the location but not at the price paid.
