This is the third time I have stayed at the President hotel, I love the location, it’s super easy to get to all my favourite places in Central London. The rooms are simple but comfortable and you don’t need anything fancy when you are spending all your day out and about. Will definitely stay again.

This place was a terrible experience. I was given a room on the 7th floor. It was the size of a large cell and accessible by a rickety freight elevator (it was down for most of my stay, which meant hauling luggage down a flight of stairs to the other elevators where there was always a long wait) The room was hot and stuffy without any climate control (there was a radiator) Keeping the widow open helped, but that was a cold draft that either smelled like old kitchen grease or cut metal from the construction outside. This was middle of November, so I can't imagine how much of an unbearable hot box it would be during the warmer months. There was massive noise from construction going on outside during working hours. You could also hear everything through the walls and the floors were so creaky it was like trying to fall asleep on a pirate ship (thank God for noise cancelling headphones). On the positive side, the room was clean and the shower and toilet worked. That's a very low bar when you're paying +$200 per night. I stayed at a nearby hotel at the start of my trip and regretted not booking the same place on my way back. The guy at check in was courteous, but the woman at check out was really rude (which is impressive given that all you need to do is ask for the room number or last name). I would not recommend this place to anyone and had it not been prepaid I would have gone elsewhere after checking in.

Acceptably mediocre hotel in a very busy and central area of London. Nothing wrong, but nothing good either. Everything clean, front desk staff always there and polite. Room was so small as to be uncomfortable. Bathroom even worse. Couldn't move around shower, sink, or toilet and I'm not a big person. Plentiful full English breakfast every morning was a nice perk.

Clean room and a super-comfortable, cozy bed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Only 16 mins' walk to the huge Primark on Oxford St. The lobby looks lovely as they've just put up their Christmas decorations. would definitely stay there again!

Reception staff excellent - professional and polite. Frustrating having to ring down from my room over and over again for an Iron and Ironing Board but no one picking up. Had to go without which is far from ideal. Rooms are clean and tidy as expected - tea and coffee selection not the best, but to be expected at a hotel like this one. Excellent location and efficient check out process.

This is a great hotel, located in a great area with convenient transit connections to explore the rest of London. It also boasts a very decent restaurant, a separate facility from the breakfast area. The only reason i am not giving it a 5 star is because the room was so small. It was just big enough to meet our needs, but only just. Regardless I would go back to this hotel again.

Clean hotel everywhere, in our room and all public areas. Friendly staff. Competitive prices giving value for money. Have stayed before and the breakfast was very good, but did not have breakfast on this occasion due to our itinerary. Comfortable beds with good pillows. Secure bag storage so we could enjoy our last day bag free. Room key to operate the lifts is a great security measure. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I love this hotel — it’s simple, clean, and the staff are lovely and helpful. And this time I was given a letter that said “Guest of the Day”! And accompanying sweet perks.
