I stayed several days at the Windermere Hotel. Easy walking distance to Victoria Coach station. I stayed in a single room, which was below ground. The room was small and very clean and the bed very comfortable. I liked that the window opened. The area is very quiet. The breakfast was very good. Great value for the money. I think the only downsides are, it's 15 minute walk to any variety of restaurants, and the front desk staff were standoffish. However, I would definitely return to the Windermere.

Two night stay near Victoria Station.
Nice little gem it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff, smooth check-in and checkout. Reasonable size room . Good breakfast.

Very lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast each day was outstanding. Close to the Victoria Coach and Train station and to Hop on Hop off stops. Excellent!

A quiet oasis in a busy city.
The owner has clearly thought through and provided all the amenities a guest reasonably would like to be provided with. Our shower room on the ground floor was a bit small and may not be suitable for everyone but otherwise our room was very comfortable, in particular the bed which was medium firm and supportive. The breakfast was excellent with great choices and service.

The hotel above average, I should say I do not expect spacious room like in Canada but comfortable enough for 3. Walking distance most of the sights, we use to hike no problem for us. The best part is the breakfast serves hot and the servers were wonderful..good coffee. I will stay in the duture. Excellent service.

Area was nice and felt secure, walking distance to Victoria station and close to nice shops and Harrods. Our hotel room was clean and neat. Breakfast was included and was very nice. Owners are involved in the service and were very pleasant, they even allowed us to leave our luggage as we need to go on a tour after checking out.Overall highly recommended and will definitely stay again if ever we go back to London.

The Windermere was a beautiful property. We wanted an older hotel with character, and the building had that. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was quite good.

Good hotel, centrally located - 10 mins walk from Victoria. Room was (expectedly) small - single room. It was clean and quiet. Shower etc was very good (although the sink was small). Easy check-in. I did not have breakfast. Overall, a good hotel for a good price.

The hotel itself was fine, but I was put into a small, close basement room. The size was to be expected for a single room, but it smelled musty, and was airless. Even though it was not warm outside, I still put on the A/C in order to sleep. Breakfast was fine.
