The room was tiny, unkept, stains on carpet, curtains, furniture. Furniture was chipped, old, warped. Windows were old and horrible. Doors were damaged. No iron in room.

The room was drab. I saw rips and medium sized stains on the curtains. I saw dust in the room upon arrival. The amenities were mediocre and the walls thin, very noisy. No one offered to help with my bags.

Clean, comfortable and quiet
Clean and comfortable city hotel in a fairly quiet part of town, however, well within walking distance to the tube and a number of landmarks. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, overall an enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed our stay, was a warm time in London and the AC isnt great (and limited via lockout), dated hotel but cozy bed. For the price and in Mayfair, wasnt bad.

The Mayfair hotel is centrally located, close to St James, Green Park, Piccadilly,Buckingham palace. The hotel has rooms/ floors that have refurbished their rooms and these are nice, clean and comfortable. However there are rooms that are seriously outdated with old, lumpy mattresses, old carpet, stained tile in the bathroom. We were placed in such a room our first night. The following day I spoke with customer service Azhar, who was very accommodating and found me an updated, comfortable room after consulting her supervisor Max. We were moved without trouble and our remaining nights were fine. So keep this in mind if staying at this hotel. It is very old and you may need to ask to be moved.
