I was informed at this hotel was newly renovated. This is the sole reason why I selected this location compared to other options that were available. When I arrived at the hotel the rooms didn't look renovated at all. The lobby looked newer however the rooms looked old and smelled old.

Room only made up by special request. Ridiculous for what you pay per night. You should not have to ask. Three people staying in our room, and just couldn’t manage to leave enough fresh towels for all of us. Had to request every day. Also, not enough pillows on the beds. Disappointed in Marriott this time.

Location was great, parts of the area nearby were dirty and run down. Lots of options for dining and very walkable. Just keep an eye on your surroundings and avoid walking late at night
