Nice, Safe Property in Pasadena
We enjoyed our two-night stay in Pasadena. This gave us time to tour the Huntington for the first time. Nice staff. A couple of things that could be improved: the small couch didn’t provide much support when sitting, and there was no closet or even hangers in the room. Property is close to a few small eateries and a grocery store.

Nice property at an affordable price. Check in was easy. Elizabeth was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is not far from shopping and restaurants- some within walking distance. Would stay again.

Nice and plain. The only thing i hate hate hated was whatever scent they were using in the lobby and rooms. It smelled like straight up diaper ointment. It was overpowering and lasted in the room for a loooong time. Just change that.

The property did not have any assistance for mobility. I got there almost at 6:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2024 and I asked about a first floor room for my mobility issues. When I was told they didn’t have any left, I asked about an elevator and I was told it was broken. I have herniated discs and a service animal. I had to lug my belongings up two flights of stairs. I was exhausted and physically in pain.

Comfort and quiet
The place is clean and quiet even next to the main road but the rooms are not close to the road. There is a food truck mostly Mexican style and one Thai restaurant nearby.

I explicitly called ahead to confirm that I could use a prepaid Visa gift card to pay for my stay, and I was assured that I could. When I checked in, however, I was told that form of payment would not be accepted. This was very inconvenient for me and I will not be staying at your hotel again.

Very nice front desk staff, but I was surprised that they do not accept AMEX as payment. They could also put a bottle water inside the room to welcome the guest. The room I got was a handicap room with rails for the toilet and seat in the shower area.
