The property is mostly quiet and relaxing - the pool and spa were serene and was very cool to see the movie at night from our room. However, we did have 'lovely' neighbors above us that were screaming off the balcony at 745 AM and woke me up both mornings, as well as left us lots of smokey presents on the balcony the day of our departure.

Shower was clogged, Master bedroom door was broken and didn’t close or lock, we had an event to attend and maintenance arrived late to fix the shower and door making us late to our event.

My stay at Level Hotel Downtown LA was okay. The room was very spacious. I like that it had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ice maker and a full size refrigerator. The sizable balcony was a plus. My only complaint was that they have a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower, and the representative at the front desk came off unfriendly. Getting off the elevator, you could see the dust on the carpet as if it was not vacuum for a while, the floor in our room was also dusty so we had to wear a slipper/socks while inside. There was also this unexplained smell that was just wrong. Also, the $49 fee for parking was just ridiculous. I got parking a block away for $10. Overall a good hotel, just need to tighten up on a few things. I would definitely recommend due to room size.
