The AC did not work in our room. The technician who was sent to our room was not able to fix the unit quickly, and he called front desk to have them change our room. Fortunately the hotel was not full this week, and we were able to change to a different room.

Don't look any further! THIS is the place!
This place was SO on top of EVERYTHING! Excellent service and outstanding staff too! We'll definitely be back! From the moment you walk in, it's pure class! (trust me I am a hotel snob too) The extra things you get are fab! My husband accidentally left his suitcase on the curb outside because we were helping his brother in the car ( he had hurt his leg on an outing) My husband left it on the curb near the street. It could have been picked up by anyone! EVERYTHING he owned was in this suitcase. Laptop and all of his electronics. He was sick with worry. We quickly called the hotel. They picked it up the second they saw it. AMAZING! He actually went back to the hotel from the airport and made it back on time for our flight! Perfect scenario! Our room was amazing! We had a suite and everything about it was amazing. I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff made everything so special. The doorman ( he was just fab) The staff at the reception desk (especially Richard) were so kind and helpful. This trip was extra special staying at this hotel. We will definitely be back!

One of the best hotels we have stayed at for the past number of years. Staff uniformly excellent, even the maids thanked us for staying at the hotel. Restaurant's prices seemed high at first glance but the food was plentiful and really good, great value plus great servers. Would come back on our next trip to LA for sure.

Bad Experience
Everything was great until returning to the hotel and decided to have a drink at the bar before returning to our room. A party of three showed up (two females and one male) and began being loud and disrespectful just one seat in between them and I. I called them out on it. To be completely honest, the verbal exchange escalated briefly and it could easily have been over had it not been for the bartender who asked us to leave and added that the party of three were guests at the property- apparently famous performers in the area whom I did not recognize. Hence, more than likely NOT famous. However, we were guests at the property as well. We decided to be the better people and we retreated to our room. I will be reviewing my statement shortly and if any incidentals were incurred at the bar, I will be calling to reverse that. I had a $25 voucher intended for that use. Beside that, all of the staff were friendly, especially the valet staff.
