Arriving from regional vic with limited time, we expected a check-in, freshen up & to make our meeting on time. Unfortunatly, our access key didnt work, the phone number given was not attended on Sat & staying in Gibb St & having to walk back to Albert St to replace key. Not a good start.. now we could walk back to the appartment, change & make our way to our meeting, late unfortunately. The reception staff assisted us & was helpful & the property would have been more than adequate if not for a simple tech failure. A swipe key not coded correctly to give us access when we reqired it! Very pòor form! Respectfully

You get what you pay for!!! It is cheap and a little bit nasty. I've never sat on more uncomfortable lounges. Maximum 3 people could fit on them yet it is a 2 bed property. I mean get some cheap comfy lounges from ikea or fantastic furniture. The bathroom had been updated, however if you are a big person you will struggle to access the shower, the opening would be no more than 60cms. The noise from apartment next door and above was very loud. Great position being able to walk 3 blocks to the tram line and a further 800 mtrs to the MCG. We booked the 2 bed apartment for 4 people and were given the free Wifi code but only 3 able to use as a maximum. Ridiculous.

This property had very approachable office staff that were friendly both in person and on the phone. The biggest plus of this Property is its location and being able to walk (with small kids) to rod laver, the cost is also very affordable. The property felt like it needed a deep clean, however sheets and towels were very clean. Furniture was not the best couches were very uncomfortable as were dining chairs. There is parking however it is very tight and if cars don’t get in the lines(which are very small spaces) it is extremely difficult to get out. The property have no way of contacting other guests to move cars if locked in!

An Easy Walk to the Melbourne Sporting Precinct!
The best thing about the East Melbourne City Edge Apartments is that it was within easy walking distance of the Melbourne Cricket Ground. There is an IGA Shop close by. The apartment is very basic with just a microwave to use for cooking. The second bed didn’t have a bedside table, bedside light or power point. The double couch is small but too close for comfort for two big blokes. For people just wanting to go to the AFL, cricket, tennis or a State of Origin, this place is cost effective.

The apartment was pretty good, very basic and could do with a little TLC but overall we were happy with our stay. The area and position was excellent for the purpose of our visit.

Facility is a little "tired" in need of some maintenance. Door had a little movement with air in corridor. TV was logged in to a former visitor's gmail account and would only play local antennae TV programs for random amounts of time. Staff were most accommodating with late check-in. Value at discounted price paid but not good value at rack rate. Parking very tight, suitable for micro cars only if at capacity

The location was excellent, close to shops, transport and sporting venues. Easy self parking on site (limited). Room was a good size but absolutely filthy, broken & mismatched furniture, bathtub/shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, grime and dust everywhere and food (or something) sprayed across one of the walls.

Drove 4 hours, to get to property, went for a rest and sheets were all dirty, rang and ask for cleaner to come, was told they will drop sheets off for me to change the bed myself. Requested new room, but was told no. Went for shower again unclean and dusty, paint all over the floors, sofa was like sitting on concrete. Pictures WERE DEFINITELY NOT as on booking site stated. Old run down place, very dirty, out dated, furniture from 1900’s

Easy to get to, stay at and enjoy. Netflix is blocked, YouTube was hard to navigate. There was a dirty used bandaid hidden under a pillow on the couch, this is the cheaper option but the cleaning and maintenance could be much better.

Not happy at all with our stay. We paid for a family of five and didn’t receive any bedding or toweling for the 5th person. Suppose to have twin beds and only had singles. Two children can not sleep on one. Only two rolls of toilet paper for 3 days between five people. Had to purchase our own. Our doonas were yellow and absolutely stunk. The couches were as hard as rock and not comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on. Rubbish under beds which means it wasn’t cleaned recently. Being a professional cleaner it’s definitely not up to healthy living standards. Toilet was disgustingly dirty. No shower pressure at all, constantly changing from hot to cold. Wifi that only covered two people. No heater in main bedroom as it is a fire hazard up against a wall with the heat that luminates from it. Heater in lounge room didn’t work. Photos were taken from our stay. We should have listened to the terrible reviews that you guys had received as they were all correct. Not worth the money we paid to stay in.

Good, basic accomodation. You get what you pay for
I am not a fussy person and we chose this accomodation based on price and location as they say you get what you pay for. It was ok. A little tired and run down. If i wanted to be picky there was definitely some extra cleaning that was needed. Ie. The shelf where the toaster and kettle sat hadnt been wiped in ages. Bread crumbs everywhere. There was some dust/dirt collection in the hard to reach corners of the bathroom. But overall it was ok. The shower was very very small. Worked well though, great oressure and hot water. No tea towel provided, which made it hard to dry dishes. But as i said we are not fussy people we bought some paper towel and dealt with it. The dust accumulation didn't bother me but it would some I guess. Personally not a fan of paying too much for accomodation so long as I have a shower and a bed and we are safe I'd rather spend my money on experiences.
