This Historical home is located in the heart of the downtown Napa. Built in the 1900's and fully restored in December 2007, the beautiful hardwood floors, wood ceilings, solid wood doors and old fashioned Bennington knobs make this home a charming getaway. The new kitchen is done with granite tiles and has a Tuscan feel with beautiful colors of the wine valley.

The house has bedrooms 3 - one with a king size bed and plenty of room. The second room is outfitted with 2 twin beds with an office and desk. The sun shines through the day bedroom for a quiet nap in the afternoon or a read of your favorite book. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs with the mancave and master bath.

The house is furnished with many old antiques. We have an original BUCKS stove that was used in the 1900's for cooking.

The newly upgraded kitchen was done in an early 1900 wine country theme, however with modern appliances. The appliances included are: Gas Range, Microwave, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal unit, Combo Freezer Refrigerator, Toaster, Coffee Maker, and all flatware, silverware, Calphalon cookware and utensils.
Office area has room for your computer. Wireless setup or cable set up.

The living room has all leather furniture, flat screen television with comcast as our provider. Enjoy the local entertainment and news.

The bathroom is completely restored with a soaker tub with shower enclosure. Enjoy a nice quiet relaxing bath or shower with our European bath products. Luxurious monogrammed bathrobes and slippers are provided.
The downstairs features a walk in shower, double sinks, queen bed and entertainment room.


Laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are located in the downstairs storage area. Iron and ironing board provided.

Adirondack chairs provided on the porch--perfect for relaxing with a great wine you just found in a local, boutique winery and your favorite book.
Backyard wine barn, pergala, vineyard and barbecue make this the ideal

Perfect base got Napa Vacation

Susan is an amazing and accommodating host. Could not have been any better. Charming home with nice furnishings, terrific kitchen and all that was needed. We easily walked to nearby downtown Napa for dinner, drinks, shopping. Outdoor patio with fire pit and vineyard amazing.

Amazing location just north of Main street - all of downtown Napa is walkable! Great house and even better host - warm, friendly, generous and fair. You cannot go wrong with this rental for your next trip to Napa! We will absolutely use it again next trip!

Perfect Stay

Susan was the hostess with the mostess! This was a girls trip to Napa and the cottage was perfect for the four of us. We were comfortable and it had anything we needed and more. The location was great, we enjoyed walking to The Model Bakery at Oxbow Market each morning. We would stay here again!

Girls Weekend

We had a girls weekend celebration and being in downtown Napa was what we wanted for easy access to food, shopping and wine tasting. The Corner Cottage was a perfect house for the three of us to relax, enjoy the outdoors and surrounding downtown. Susan was a great hostess, providing many, many amenities, along with her wonderful personality. We were so comfortable in her home, which was beautifully kept. She had many more extra’s at her home that any other rental we have had in the past. This home is a must for everyone. I can’t want to plan our next visit in Napa, and to stay in the Corner Cottage.

Wine country cottage

This house was so much more than we thought. Our host was lovely! We had so much fun speaking with her about Napa! The space is perfect for exploring Napa. Walking distance (key in wine country) to downtown and just a short distance from some of the best wineries in Napa! Girls Birthday Getaway

The cottage was perfect for 5 of us to sleep and hang out while celebrating a big birthday. Its location made it easy to walk around Napa. Onsite parking was a breeze. Susan was very responsive and welcoming as the cottage host. Highly recommend.

Comfy Cozy Cottage

We enjoyed staying at The Cozy Cottage. Susan is WONDERFUL & the perfect hostess. Her house is in walking distance to everything downtown. There were 4 of us, 2 couples. The men loved hanging out downstairs in what they called the dungeon watching football. Be sure to visit her store downtown “The Bennington”. She has so many cute things and a great selection of Napa shirts. We would definitely stay at her place again if we are ever back in Napa ❤️

Charming Napa house walkable to downtown

This property was excellent for our group. We walked to the farmers market rigjt across the street. Walkable to everything downtown Napa has to offer. Outdoor area is perfect for sipping some wi e with your friends.

Best Staycation Ever...

Being from the SF Bay Area, Napa is just a hop skip and a jump away. Having said that I'm calling this a staycation that it is so close and it truly felt like we were home away from home. Being that we were right there downtown we could not have had a better experience of walking to restaurants, coffee shops and many downtown businesses. It was fantastic! We parked the car the day we arrived and only drove it once in the 5 days that we stayed at the cottage. All I can say is that we had the best time ever staying here and recommend anyone stay at the Corner Cottage if you want to be close to downtown. You cannot beat the location! Loved it!! We will absolutely be back! -Michael

Girls' Trip to Wine Country

Susan is awesome! The house has the perfect location and everything we could possibly need. The house is charming with a picturesque vineyard in the back yard and beautiful crepe myrtles that we saw every morning while drinking coffee in the beautiful weather on the front porch. THE BEST TIME!

Susan is the BEST hostess! She provided us with everything we needed and lots of things we didn’t even think of! Charming craftsman (historic) cottage. Walkable to everything downtown. I can’t believe how much love went into making this a perfect place to stay. And, while you’re in Napa, be sure to visit her store, The Bennington. Great spot for gifts , snacks and just plain neat stuff.

Perfect trip!

We rented the Corner Cottage for a girlfriends 50th birthday celebration and we could not have been more impressed or more happy with our stay. The property was as described and was perfect for our home base. Tons of food, tasting rooms, and shopping options within walking distance and a fantastic Saturday farmers market right across the street. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and no unpleasant surprises. On the contrary, so many bonuses that we never would have got at a hotel. The house was fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. And the outside space was gorgeous and absolutely perfect for winding down at night. Susan, the property owner, went WAY above and beyond to make our stay and our trip spectacular. She left us a birthday basket of goodies, comped us one night stay because roofers were still unexpectedly there during our stay, provided wonderful food recommendations, and even had a glass of wine with us one night. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Susan. She was a highlight of our trip. If any of us ever make it back to Napa, we will definitely stay here again without even looking at other places.

Cozy Corner Cottage

This cottage comes with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay in Napa. It's ideally located for short walks to Napa shops as well as short drives to Napa Valley and Sonoma. You can also decide (as we did!) to take an afternoon and chill in the vineyard - yes, there's a secluded back yard hosting a real vineyard, comfy chairs, premium grill, shade and firepit table. The owner is super-responsive and cares that you are satisfied. We were delighted with our stay. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay

Susan was a fantastic host! This is by far the best Verbo stay we have had. The cottage was stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay and walkable to downtown Napa. The wine train is right across the street (a must in Napa). Thank you so much for your hospitality Susan!
