Check in was easy, although they do charge $25 if you want to check in early. The exterior of the building is very old and run down (it could use an update) the inside was a lot bigger than I expected. The rooms were ok. The staff were friendly. The location is great. A five minute walk (max) from the Amtrak station. Lots of food options, along with Plank right across the street. I only needed to stay one night, and it was fine. My only complaint was someone kept banging on the walls and making the entire room shake. I guess they either left or fell asleep, When it got late it was very quiet.

Staff were friendly enough. Happy to give extra towels becuase we only had 2 for 4 people. Train noise is constant. Breakfast room was cold but breakfast was good. Close to Jack London Square, nit much else worth seeing in Oakland

Property needs an upgrade. Surprisingly comfortable mattress, but that’s the only complimentary thing I have to say. The housekeeping staff we encountered was lovely, but the front desk staff were extremely rude. For “just a place to sleep” this property is adequate, but very disappointing compared to other properties nearby. I guess it’s priced that way, so you get what you pay for.

One of the worst motels I've ever stayed at. The room looked like it was under construction. Walls were only half painted the sink was stained as well as the bathroom countertop was heavily used and awful. The refrigerator had a puddle of ice water at the bottom of it. The furniture was old and look like it should be thrown out. The only thing decent was the bed

Needs some…you pick
Have I been at worse unfortunately yes but not much worse. Real outdated the neighborhood‘s a little sketchy with plenty of good restaurants nearby all warning to keep your vehicles locked up. the hotel runs along side an active and very loud train crossing. the breakfast they offer should not even be offered. maybe just coffee and juice would’ve been better.

Property is run down, water in bathroom sink trickled out, shower barely got warm even after letting it run for over fifteen minutes. Saving grace of the hotel is its prime location- very walkable, close to restaurants and downtown. If you want peace and quiet for say, sleeping, look somewhere else. Walls are thin and the property is right next to an active railroad track (this is not the hotel's fault).
