The perfect Palm Springs paradise. This quintessential pool home has been designed for relaxing in the sunshine. The pool/spa is temperature controlled, meaning you have the option to heat and cool the pool/spa. Great central location. Gorgeous mountain views. Very private resort-style back yard. Huge open floor plan. Polished concrete floors. Five separate deluxe sleeping quarters. Desert Chill is a fabulous, clean, well-maintained, mid-century getaway that has been completely remodeled. The owners preserved the architectural pedigree of the home (circa 1954) while updating it for the way we live today with a new gourmet kitchen, updated baths, 5 flat-screen televisions, and hi-speed internet access. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this property captures the Palm Springs vibe of yesteryear while being very 'Next Century' at the same time.

THE LIVING SPACES Desert Chill is light and bright with a spacious open concept floor plan. The well-stocked gourmet kitchen gives way to the formal dining room that seats 8-10. The adjacent lounge area features plenty of comfortable seating, a huge flat screen television, and a gas fireplace. The layout is ideal for spending time with your entire group. Large seamless windows reveal the private pool yard - blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living in true Palm Springs style. Everything about this vacation home says relax, chill out, and immerse yourself in the desert lifestyle.

THE OUTDOOR AREAS Desert Chill is resort living at its best. It is well-suited for extended weekends, week-long stays and as a seasonal vacation rental. The sun-drenched back yard is completely walled for privacy and is shielded by a 10 foot tall ficus hedge. You'll enjoy the beautiful heated, in-ground pool that is surrounded by chaise lounges, a gas barbecue, al fresco dining, and grassy areas that are great for lawn games, kids and dogs. Gather around the firepit for a night cap, and take a midnight spa under the stars. Day or night, you and your travel companions will spend hours together - laughing, sharing and making memories. There are even some great tucked away spaces that are just right for grabbing some alone time curled up with a good book.

THE SLEEPING QUARTERS There are five deluxe sleeping quarters that all have hotel-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions, and ample storage. The master has a king-sized bed, an ensuite bath, and direct pool access. The separate king-sized guest casita also has an ensuite and direct pool access. The three additional queen guest rooms each have easy access to the two hall baths. Past guests have all commented on how wonderful it is to have a bathroom for almost every bedroom.

THE LOCATION Desert Chill is tucked away on a lovely residential street in Sunrise Park, just minutes from our Farmers Market, Casino, Desert Regional Medical Center and the Convention Center. There are restaurants, grocery stores, sandwich shops and other neighborhood conveniences in walking distance to this fabulous home. Bustling Downtown and the recently revitalized Uptown Design District, with its world-class art galleries, fine dining, night clubs and Tiki bars are just a few minutes away by car or Uber.

POOL HEAT: Elevate your stay with the option to heat the pool, available upon request at time of booking or prior to your arrival. This feature ensures your pool is heated from 7 AM to 7 PM throughout your entire stay. Pool Heat: OCT-MAY at $50/night. Pool heat is not needed JUN-SEPT.

Great floorpan and location!!

This quiet property is conveniently located close to the Palm Springs airport and downtown. The neighborhood is beautiful. Property and pool are in great condition! It has lots of bedrooms and baths! The casita bedroom could use a better bathroom set-up. Otherwise, things were great!

70th bday celebration & Thanksgiving week with family

This was a wonderful home for our family's getaway and so conveniently located. Communication with our host was excellent. Lots of room to spread out, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, beds and showers were great. We loved relaxing by the pool and spa with the giant pool floaties and lounge chairs. As a group with 8 adults and 2 little kiddies, we enjoyed the casual elegant vibe of your furnishings that was both attractive and easy to keep clean. We just had to be extra cautious, however, with the big glass coffee table when our 3 year old and 10 month old grandkids played in the living room. Just a few suggestions for improvement: 1. from the master bedroom at night, we could hear quite some noise (from the pool heating unit?) which sounded like firecrackers, startling our dog. Fortunately, the sound didn't reach the other bedrooms. 2. Appreciated all the patio furniture, but a small side table or two would have been nice. 3.Having enjoyed vacations in many rental homes in Palm Springs, we appreciate the after-hour noise ordinance, but apparently one of your neighbors (or their guests) didn't seem to care and had a noisy party that went late into the night. But all in all, this was a fabulous home and we would love to return.

Delightful break from colder climates!

We LOVED our stay! The kitchen was well-stocked and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate our wonderful group of friends. The hot tub and heated pool are a great amenity to come home to after hiking Joshua Tree or riding the tram on a cold January day. Location is conveniently close to shopping, the downtown strip and the airport. One thing that parents might want to know is that the house is not overly babyproof--glass coffee table, outlets are uncovered and the floor is cement. Our group is pretty enamored with all our little ones so they were never unmonitored and it wasn't even a slight issue for us. To that end, all the doors to the pool and the backyard are lockable and that feels really safe when you travel with children. We would love to come back to this property next visit to Palm Springs.

Great location and perfect for our group!

Property description was accurate. Snafu with the Arrived check-in verification system was the only issue. We were a group of 7 adults and the house was perfect for our needs. We used the hot tub, pool and fire pit with no issues. Was close to downtown and equipped well enough for the 5 or so meals we cooked. Would recommend.

Stay during Thanksgiving

The property was as listed. We had ten people including two children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is close to Downtown and grocery stores. Be prepared to go food shop as soon as you arrive because there aren’t even basic items such as coffee, salt, pepper, etc. that are usually found in short term rentals.

So this is the 3/4th time weve come here this year but this time im giving 4 stars simply because the pool was extremely dirty…a pool cleaner came but just added a singular chlorine pod and left..still a good house.

Everything was absolutely clean and spotless when we arrived not to mention the pool and all the bedrooms they were all extremely neat! I definitely recommend people to consider coming here for their vacation it is absolutely worth it.

The property we stayed at was perfect, very spacious and many amenities that you need in Palm Springs! The owner/property manager we’re super helpful and it was the first property I’ve ever been at where the pool cleaners were friendly and let us know exactly what they were doing and why. No complaints here and would DEFINITELY stay here again in the future!

First time the Palm Springs-this house was PERFECT. The ease of communication with property management was so easy. Quick responses. Was a very great experience. A perfect weekend at a perfect home

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Very clean, very spacious, very comfortable. Loved having the property manager meet us there at check in to show us how retuning works. There was nothing missing in the kitchen to cook. The AC was strong, which is a must when you’re visiting Palm Springs in the summer. The pool and backyard was so peaceful and welcoming. The entire property was an oasis we didn’t want to leave. Checking out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

We took a family trip and there were four families. There were enough rooms for the 4 families and my girls had there own room. The pool is a nice size and was warm. The location was about 30 min from the outlets and from Westfield mall. They provided pots pans and spices. Quit neighborhood.

Beautiful home with lots of space

My friends and I stayed here and to be honest, the pictures don’t do the house justice. It was very clean and very well kept. The pool was honestly a little smaller than I anticipated which was the only negative about the house (21ft x 14ft). I wish more homes would disclose information about how big the pool is prior to booking but this is a common issue I’ve found with most properties, not just this one. Other than that I had a great stay here!
