The room is not well ventilated. Smells like mold. After half an hour in the room I had a headache. It was raining and there was water dripping from A/C vent. Key didn’t work 2 days in the row. Had to walk all the way to the office to fix it. Twice. The lights outside get into the room so it’s not dark enough to have a restful sleep. The bed was good! Comfortable. Sheets were clean. Room was pretty clean as well. Bathroom was outdated. It was my first and the last time there. For people on the budget I recommend Delos Reyes. Neighborhood is better there too.

I was arbitrarily denied access to this property without notice and without cause. In addition, i was denied a timely refund, forcing hotels.com to step in and force motel 6 to act.

The room was clean but did need a little tlc. I was quite disappointed that the pool/spa was not open the entire time I was there, appartently it needed some repair. There did not seem to be any hurry to get it fixed, which I would think would be a priority. Many people come to Palm Springs in the winter because they are coming from cold climates and want some sun and relaxation. In addition there was a daily charge for parking which should have been waived since the pool was out.

motel 6 did not allow me to check in at all. They informed me that they were unable to provide any information at this time, but that check-in would be impossible. Then they informed that they were not going to return any of the funds that were prepaid because Hotels.com did not send them any email or call them. Of course I got the opposite response from Hotels.com. I believe this is the fault of Motel 6 because hotels.com usually treats me Pretty well, and nothing like this has ever happened before.

Parking was easy except you have to pay a unknown fee of $5.75 when you get there, dislikes were sink faucet did not have a hot and cold sign so I was using cold water and when I did run both it seemed to have hot water unless it took more than the couple minutes that I had it running, but they were very pet friendly also staff was great and they upgraded me from a one bed to a two bed completely free, so definitely recommend the place for the price paid $78 for a two bedroom with a large dog included, it was three of us with the dog on Christmas Day definitely can't beat that price

Front desk staff was not always courteous or listen to the issues presented. Parking charge was a surprise as not clearly stated in the Expedia hotel description of the price. Room key card system needs to be upgraded -- two days in a row Had to walk down to the front desk and have the cards re-magnetized. Did not keep them in pocket with phone or keys but in wallet - which staff presented as a reason. Asked to have the room skipped on maid service on 12/16 since we were coming and going ad didn't feel room needed it. But on 12/18 expected it would be cleaned while away from 7 am until 3pm. Staff had no reason why it had not been done by that time but said someone would get to it after lunch. It did get cleaned bu had to leave the room while it was cleaned. That should not happen. When checking out the manager was not terribly apologetic about any of my frustrations - then while I was sitting outside he called me and apologized profusely for my inconveniences during the stay and told me he was issuing a 20% refund on the stay. I still have not seen any evidence of that refund being processed or applied in my Capital One Visa account.

Room is in a state of disrepair that no competent manager would ever allow to be rented out especially at their overpriced gouge rates. The towels are constantly dirty and unsanitary and the linens on the bed are unwashed between guests.
