The worse experience in hospitality to say the least. I waited 15 minutes to get any sort of help. I wouldn’t even call it help because the rude interaction I had with Marissa a child was the worst. Between having her roll her eyes at me, to never smiling or to even saying a “good afternoon”. I’ve worked in hospitality for over five years and the level of customer service at the Downtown Motel six very poor. I asked for a non smoking and was given a smoking room. Without a smoke detector. The roof was caving due to accumulation of water from the AC. There was a puddle of water from the AC’s condensation. I had to leave because I felt unsafe. There was drug activity throughout the hotel. An individual tried to get into my room. I tried to report it but again I was treated poorly by staff.

Average Hotel but Convenient

Pretty much what you'd expect from a $50/night hotel. Didn't get the room we booked and the beds were not particularly comfortable but the service was friendly and the location was convenient to downtown. Pros - outdoor pool and free AM coffee in the lobby. Cons - bare bones rooms and lots of crackheads nearby and on property.

Jamie here is a very different kind of person .shes super professional and sufficient . i wish she would work somewhere else how good she is. thx motel 6 for having her i believe she was the head housekeeper at this location. she shows up & out !!!

Very low price, but unfortunately the smoke detector was faulty and even though the motel sent a repairman in the afternoon, the chirping problem reoccurred at 2am in the morning. Luckily I had some sound deadening ear plugs and was still able to sleep. Hopefully the hotel will do the necessary repair before the next guests……

1st timers in Palm Springs

We arrived on a Friday night and the place felt a bit sketchy (guests). The AC was not working so we went to the front desk, and when we had returned from being out, the ac was fixed. The ac felt wonderful. We appreciated the fact that we could travel with our dog so it was extremely convenient. Also I noticed the tub was dirty in a few spots, but other than that, everything was fine. We will return.
