When checking in the person at the front desk was very helpful but the room was just dirty and the AC unit didn't work very well. I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work. The jazucci was green and the pool was full of leafs from the trees.

Motel 6 is mediocre motel which needs conscience and consistency in maintenance and management. I stayed here because it is economically feasible. The rooms need thorough cleaning and everything must be gone over to make sure they work right.

For a huge motel with hundreds of rooms, I was a bit bummed we had to wait until 4pm before we could get a room, and even then we had to settle for two twin beds instead of our reserved king.

Terrible stay experience on 3/21/2025

The hotel gave us a room with a non working tv, 1 light and the phone. I called from my cell to let them know of the issues. They sent maintenance. Upon arriving to our room he said that the tv was not programmed so he was not able to fix it. We went to the office to request to be moved. The front desk person said that we had waited to long to report the issues since the check-in. We checked in left our stuff in the hotel and went to eat lunch after a 4 hour drive to Palm Springs. He proceeded to go to the room and saw we had used a towel, open the soap bar on the sink and had moved the cover on one bed slightly. He said that he wouldn't be able to change our room since we had used some items. This was supposed to be a deluxed room. Clearly not as there were known issues from what the maintenance person. I asked to speak to the manager, none on site. I could only email them. I was told that i could only get a discount for the issues. I will never stay at Motel 6, they didn't take any accountability for the condition of the room and place the blame on us for not checking the issues when we checked in. It is not the customers responsible to bring those issues to Motel 6, i paid for a premium room and was provided did a sub par room and ŵas denied a transferred to another room. Please do not accept check-in to room 215. We will never atay at Motel 6, the service was terrible. Also check that everything is in working condition upon entering the room otherwise you'll be screwed.

I am a frequent traveller and spend about 75-90 nights in hotels per year. My midnight flight out of PSP was cancelled and needed to find a place to crash for a few hours and used Expedia to find an affordable place nearby since we were going to stay from 11:00 pm until 3:00 am. This turn out to be the worst experience ever for the following reasons: 1) the drain from the sink in the bathroom was disconnected and we had water all over the place, I was able to put it back in. 2) there was a 1-inch space between the door frame and door to our room. since this is a motel, it means we could easily hear noise from the outside 3) the level of noise was quite significant. people kept going by our door while shouting. there was also music playing loud from another room we assume. this was between midnight and 3:00 am. 4) it was a relatively cold night in Palm Springs and the heating system was not functioning in our room making the experience very unpleasant. 5) We didnt feel safe coming in and out of this place and even our Uber driver tried to dissuade us from staying at that place. Hence, for all these reasons we certainly cannot recommend this place.

The room was not ready an hour and a half after it was supposed to be ready. We were supposed to get a call when it was ready and never got a call. Once we got in the room the door frame was coming unfastened. The room is tiny.
