Rooms need TLC but pool is nice
Pool bar service was great and the pool waterfall was very nice which was the highlight of the trip. The carpet inside the room was very run down. Its time for them to put some TLC in those rooms.

The area around the property is very nice and we felt safe. The room was big but needed some desperate updating. The carpet was old and dirty. The bathroom had a two sink vanity with drawers and doors that were falling apart.

This was our second time staying here. We only came back because my kids love the pool/water slide area. We will not be coming back after this. In our room (2 bedroom, 1 bath suite) there was: - stains on the carpet - broken tiles in the kitchen - water damage under all the sinks - holes in the sheets - hair under the bedding - smell coming from bathroom sinks Our second to last day I woke up with blood stains on my pillow case which is a sign of bed bugs. Praying we didn’t take those home with us. The building we stayed in smelled like a combo of mildew, chemical cleaner and ant spray. There is NO CELL SERVICE here, not sure why. But the internet was fast and we used that to send texts via iMessage. The staff was prompt to help when we needed things. Every staff we encountered was pleasant and helpful - including the lifeguards. The “resort fee” is a joke - we have a larger SUV so we were able to park in “SUV parking” most of the time but a handful of days there were compact cars parked there. The gym is dirty and full of broken equipment - the connect 4 game (included in resort fee) was completely splintered and unable to safely use. The only thing we enjoyed was the water slide area and jacuzzis. It was really only worth it for those things.

The room and resort were great overall. The only downside, which was significant, was that the room only had AC and no heat (that was working anyway). We woke up multiple times throughout the night because it was freezing in the room and there was no way to make it warmer.
