Service and staff were great our room could use some updates especially the shower. We had some ants in the room and informed the front desk hoping they would spray will we were out but did not. Not enough to make a room change request!!! Next time will stay closer to the beaches

San Diego Marriott Mission Valley was a great place to stay during my recruiting trip. Staff were very accommodating, the restaurant had great options for all mealtimes, and it was convenient to my venue.

All in all, a nice hotel. However the self parking is steep in price ($36 per day), and the spaces are very small. Additionally, the breakfast is not included, which is fine, but it’s the same quality as a generic continental and will run you almost $50 for two, not including a tip for the staff who pour the coffee…But you still seat and serve yourself. Had we known I’d much rather have gone out to a real restaurant. Overall nice facilities (bar, gym and pool), fairly clean, friendly staff.

The only thing I did not like is that they have a shower head with a connected wand. The water came out of the wand and I could not get it to come out of the shower head. The whole thing is a piece of crap and needs to be replaced. It does not need an attached wand.

Loved that it was so clean and the beds were comfortable!!! Staff was always very kind. I will say the main parking deck and the garage have small parking spaces, some are uneven, during the busy weekend we did not find any parking in the main deck or garage, but the staff did make us aware of other available parking spaces. I would consider staying here again in the future.
