A nice older hotel in a great location. We walked to destinations in all directions, and transit options are very close. Breakfast was good with some variety day to day, but having the toaster at front of the line causes delays sometimes. Well kept, and staff were friendly and helpful. Great value in this neighborhood!

I absolutely love the charm of this hotel. The room was nice and spacious, and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Great walkable location to shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was not having hot water in the shower, which in San Fran is kind of a big issue. We said something after our first night and spoke with the maintenance man (he was standing at the desk when we complained) the next morning. We didn’t arrive back until later that evening and still didn’t have hot water. 😔.
