The property was well-situated in downtown San Jose. It was close to a number of restaurants and only a 15-20 minute walk from Diridon Station. The hotel seemed to be recently renovated and my room was comfortable. The complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. Wifi was also quite good at this property. I was not able to use the coupon for my welcome drink, but that was a nice gesture. There was a gym at the property, but it was quite small - the front desk offered to provide me with a voucher to use the gym at a nearby hotel, but I wasn't able to take advantage of it. Overall, the hotel was pleasant and I enjoyed my stay. I would consider staying at this hotel again in the future if I had the opportunity to visit San Jose again.

To start, I am a professional house cleaner, so when I tell you this room was clean, it was CLEAN. I dust checked everywhere and not a spec, even on the tops of frames or headboards which is usually missed. The room, the bathrooms, scrubbed and spotless. I was so pleased! The room we got was King and for some reason came with two showers? I have never seen that before but it was lovely, I prefer a standing shower. The staff was AMAZING, so kind and friendly, happy to work with us when we wanted to keep our car on site after check out as we were attending an event. The event was at the convention center which was only a few minutes walk away from the hotel and the area was so clean and felt safe and easy to walk. My only issues of this stay was the mattress, it was worn and not the best for the back issues that I have, but this is the hit or miss of any hotel. The second issue is not the hotels fault, but outside of our side of the hotel was the trolley that ran all night, dining some bell every few hours. It's the only downsides. Despite this issue, I would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in the area. This stay was stellar and is THE place to stay when you are in down town San Jose, I can't wait to visit again.

1. Parking below par. Extremely limited with no staff to help. Self park and make sure you pay up front with hotel bill, not parking staff. 2. Smelled like urine outside. 3. They let people make a rap video outside lobby with loud music. Really? Wanted peace, not noise. 4. Orbitz rentals will get your below par rooms right in front of the ice machine. So obvious and not appreciated. Orbitz needs to look at this issue. Crappy rooms for Orbitz customers. 5. No late check-outs, probably because I used Orbitz. 6. No ideal amenities. 7. Will NEVER stay here again. Garbage of a hotel.
