Close to downtown and the beach. Also has multiple good options within walking distance. Staff was friendly and attentive. The room we have came with a beautiful view of the ocean and the boardwalk. 10/10 would recommend.

Location was great, next to the boardwalk but there was no coffee in the room or on yhe premises. The second night we had no tv because it was out. Window Screens were hanging off all over too!

Great location!
Great location. Easy walk to the wharf for dinner. The boardwalk is close and if you like bowling or miniature golf they are both within a two-minute walk. Also close to beach volleyball and the sand. The proprietor was kind and helpful.

The property went through a renovation, but was done very poorly. The fan wasn't wired in for the bathroom, creating mold in there. Outlet plates weren't fully attached to walls, batteries were dead in the remote, shower door panels weren't straight, causing water to go everywhere, and they only had AC, no heat. Overall pretty disappointed with the hotel, but I guess that's what I get for paying less for it.

Great location, some facilties need attention
Great location but was let down by the facilities and cleanliness. Floor was sandy on our arrival and towels were damp.....we hope from being washed and not used! The AC would not stay on for more than a few minutes, luckily we were not staying in the height of summer. There was nowhere to hang clothes or open cases, except the sandy floor. It was great having a microwave and fridge, but there was only one chair and no table to sit at. There were no lamps, the main lights were the only lights.

Located close to the boardwalk and well priced, but property poorly maintained. Mold in the bathroom, bathroom faucet very loose, almost falling off, and a piece of cardboard screwed onto the wall and painted the wall color.

The place seemed to be clean and had everything we needed for just a night sleep so I can’t complain. I did like that. There was two separate rooms in our room with a door dividing for more privacy. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t realize how close it was to the boardwalk when I booked it.

The owners were very friendly! I was very hesitant because of all the negative comments and feedback online, but I went in with an open mind. The room was very clean, I loved that the sheets smelled of bleach, they would remind me that if I needed room service or anything, not to hesitate to ask. There’s a microwave, fridge, big tv, wonderful shower with sliding glass doors. The boardwalk and tons of restaurants and the wharf are right there. The parking is a bit tight, but that really is no problem. Just a little navigation. Waking up and seeing the rides, ocean and hearing the seals is so cool. Don’t believe the negative things about this place!! I’ll definitely be staying there again when I go back. I’m sure grateful for the friendly staff, whom I feel were probably the nicest folks I met in the 5 days I was in California.

Property seemed quite run down. Had a musty smell. AC would only blow if you turned it off and then back on. Then it only lasted for about 3 minutes and shut off. It was hard to sleep as it was so hot. The bed frame was metal and made noise with any little movement. Mattress was hard, as were the pillows. Which of course made it hard to sleep. There was not any type of small closet or place to put clothes/jackets. No space in the bathroom to set toiletries. Parking lot was small and crammed and on a hill. There may have been one flat-ish spot but that’s about it. Our car isn’t big but we even changed spots out of fear it would be hit if any larger vehicle needed to find a spot.
