Well located right in town. Rooms were quite roomy, clean and quiet. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Free hot breakfast was good quality & plentiful; eggs, bacon, real hash browns, hot/cold cereals and fresh fruit. We will be back!

This is a gem. The extras are just unheard of today. They have an amazing happy hour, wine,soda coffee, snacks. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable heating, bedding, furniture. The cable tv had a good range of channels The best breakfast in years from a hotel, bacon,saugage,hash browms, the list is very long. Highly recommend this gem of Ventura

I selected a room with a balcony only there was no real balcony. It’s small area outside your room with a window position over a slanted wall and one 1 chair. If you sit in the chair you can’t see out of the window! Meanwhile the hotel across the highway has actual balconies. Even with the windows closed you can hear the Amtrak. But the breakfast served made up for these short comings. The food was all freshly cooked. 10/10. I would stay here again just for the breakfast!

Stayed to be close to the ferry to Santa Rosa. The beds were comfy, and the breakfast buffet was nice, with lots of choices. We had a very pleasant stay.

It was a good spot except the air conditioning unit made it so loud in the room hearinf the freeway traffic. I had to use a sound machine to get sleep. Also pillows were so flat. Otherwise, staff was nice, room was clean, water pressure in showers were great!

Amazing place to stay!!!
Stayed there for the Seaside Highland Games and everything about the hotel was amazing!! The rooms are spacious and quiet! The breakfast buffet was great. Convenient parking! The entire hotel experience was great. We stayed somewhere else (across the way) last year and this place was far better and more reasonable. Will be back next year!!!!

Located basically right on freeway, overlooking freeway which gets busy at 4:30 am. I had a terrible night sleep. One elevator used by cleaning personal, takes forever to move up and down

Great location
The hotel was within walking distance from the beach and Ventura Theater. The breakfast was plentiful, with eggs, waffles, fruit, sausage, and bacon. The place is clean; the rooms are large. The staff was friendly.

What’s to like: newly renovated older hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. The bathtub drain stopper is brand new and actually works so the tub can be used. Free wine and snacks every evening and free breakfast are a nice benefit. Not so great: hard surface flooring in hallways and heavy room doors generate a lot of noise. And then highway noise from the freeway that is one block away. Got half a night’s sleep due to noise from the banging doors and people talking in the hallway. Only thing not upgraded in renovation is the heat/AC-still clunky loud and irregularly operating wall units under windows. Won’t stay here again.
