I recently stayed at the Hilton with my family, and it was an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the pictures on the website were misleading. The hotel was not just outdated; it was also incredibly dirty. Our shower only had cold water, and the bathroom mirror had a significant crack, which is unacceptable for any hotel.
The room itself smelled strongly of mildew, and despite our attempts to enjoy our stay, the constant noise from construction workers right outside our window ruined any chance of relaxation. We were startled awake around 7 AM by the sound of jackhammering, and when we inquired about changing rooms, we were informed that the noise was pervasive throughout the entire hotel.
Moreover, there was no prior warning about the renovations on the hotel’s website, and the receptionist failed to inform us upon check-in. The chaos began the moment we parked our vehicle, as the loud hammering and drilling were impossible to escape. Every area of the hotel seemed to be under construction, making it difficult to find any solace.
The elevators were in dire need of an upgrade, and the hallways leading to our room reeked of wet carpet. To add insult to injury, the cracks in the parking garage were filled with cement filler, which ended up all over my wheels.
Despite the numerous issues we encountered, the hotel did not offer any form of refund, which left me feeling extremely frustrated and
