Family Catch Up
We stayed for 5 nights with our family of 5. During that time we had a bbq at the house with 2 other families and the place was perfect. Different living spaces meant the adults could chat while the kids played table tennis down stairs or games in the second living area. We were close to everything, groceries, transport and eating out. Caroline the host was very responsive and helpful. It was the perfect base for our trip and we would stay again.

BNE visit for family wedding
This property was well situated for the purposes of our trip. It had great access to the train and buses and was within walking distance to the river and shopping center. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were 6 of us staying in the house so having the toilet and the shower in one bathroom was a minor challenge but not insurmountable. Great to have an iron, washing machine, and hairdyer. Aircon and fans super helpful in January heat in BNE.

Short stay to catch up with friends
The property looks much nicer in photos than it actually is. It is clean and the kitchen and laundry are quite good. For everyday crockery and cutlery there is not a lot so you either have to wash dishes by hand or run a half empty dishwasher. There are lots of extra plates and glasses up in high cupboards but these are all matched very individual sets so we preferred not to use them as it would be impossible to replace anything if there were breakages. There is just one bathroom and its smaller than most ensuites and needs updating. There is nowhere to put anything down, just a sink and the shower is really small but water pressure good. Fortunately, there were just the 2 of us to use it as its not adequate for the 6-8 guests that could be accommodated. We only used the master bedroom, and the bed was ok, not great, and the pillows were old and flat and very uncomfortable. We both had sore necks after just one night. Other beds are all singles. These bedrooms are in a covered verandah area and flooring has gaps so not mozzie proof. Most of the furnishings are old and shabby. Verandah and outdoor furnishings nice but it's overlooking a very busy intersection and railway is close by, so it is very noisy. There is parking for 4 cars but it's difficult to get on and off the parking space as the road is narrow and a way street and parking pad raised so you need to be careful of car undercarriage. The surrounding gardens are unkept and very scruffy. Overall disappointing.

So good in so many ways
A great stay, in a family friendly home, in a brilliant location. We had a very late arrival and found Caroline’s self check in instructions spot on. The house was well equipped and absolutely made our stay which was for a family wedding. Will definitely stay again.

A great time had by all
Fantastic find this beautiful pet friendly cottage in Toowong. So close to everything. Suited our needs. Four adults stayed. Quiet inside despite the busy roads nearby. Caroline is very accessible & easy to deal with. House is exactly as photos. Will definitely stay again as it’s 12mins from my brothers home in Ashgrove. My elderly parents loved it too & the dogs enjoyed watching the world go by from the deck.

Perfect for our needs
The property was very clean and clearly well cared for. Perfect central location as described. The table tennis was a hit with the kids and being able to have the dogs with us in such a spot was a real bonus. Our host was responsive and kind enough to allow an extension plus late check-out.

We had a few small business meetings that we wanted a quiet spot for. This proved a perfect balance of somewhere to stay and organise this. Really lovely house and great area. I got what others had mentioned about the garden as you need to open a gate for pets to access, but we have a large well trained pup so not a real problem. We will be booking again :)

Wonderful Home Excellent Location.
Light and airy, this home is located in a quiet street only 5 mins walk the Toowong shopping precinct. A charming cottage that is easy to live in. With two tv rooms the whole family can be happy. Foxtel, YouTube and more are provided to entertain everyone. This is an absolutely great location. Convenient to Brisbane, and a good base the explore SE Qld.

Loved the light and bright feel to this home which was full of character and in a great area close to the shops. Loved the kitchen and living area. Beds were comfy and warm. Balcony cosy to warm up in the winter sun. Perfect for our family (2 adults, toddler and baby). Everyone really happy. So functional and for a family - made life so much easier!
