The hotel is in good proximity to city tour train and other public transportation, in decent walking distance to the airport bus and inter-cities trains hub, so the movements around were easy and low-cost instead of ordering uber or taxi. My room and spacious bathroom were clean and nice kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave had all the dishes, utensils and cooking necessities. Big plus for me was a pool/spa/gym area for the exercises or evening relaxation after a long day of sightseeing tours.

Great location and friendly staff. I was visiting Melbourne from another country and was struggling to book a tour (credit card kept getting declined and couldn't call because it'd be too expensive on my phone plan). One of the employees graciously called over there and helped me finalize the tour booking. A little kindness goes a long way and I will happily recommend Atlantis to anyone staying in Melbourne.

I’m very pleased with the whole room except that the phone was not working but the rest are of very good quality The staff at the reception were also very helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Will stay there again when I need to stay in the city. Thank you, The Great Southern Hotel.

Very easy to get to. Very clean. The room was a good size. The reception ataff were very responsive and pleasant. Would recommend.
