The unit felt dirty especially the small verandah area We sat there momentarily our first night and got rained upon with beer from the above Balcony Also the first night there was no hot water ( ok next morning) It was impossible to close any of the multiple entry doors quietly due to squeeky door hinges The external environment didn't feel safe ( not the fault of the apartment complex) Notwithstanding the lower prices we wouldn't stay here again.

Do not stay at this property… Absolutely disgusting No hot water Dirty Holes everywhere Broken furniture Staff are absolutely horrible and useless. I don’t think they know how to speak. I had major surgery and stayed while in between doctors and hospital. It was the most horrible time of my life. Couldn’t shower as there was no hot water and dirty. No breakfast which was apparently included in our price. Asked for refund as we actually left because the conditions was that bad and still waiting. This place needs to be shut down for health and safety reasons

This was the most disgusting accommodation I have ever stayed in my life. I have stayed in $60 a night motels, $600 a night hotels and everything in between and they were all far cleaner than this. I cannot overstate how gross this place is. There was mould literally everywhere in the bathroom. I do mean everywhere and it was thick like it had never tried to be cleaned. The bed cover were stained, there was 1cm think dirt and dust on most of the surfaces, we had no hot water and the place stank. Honestly if you are thinking of staying here, DON’T! Save yourself the $259 a night and stay anywhere else. The owners of this place should be ashamed of themselves.

The property is showing its age. Hot water took a considerable amount of time to heat up. (Considerable water was wasted) There was no soap in some of the soap dispensers. The kettle had a broken lid and should have been replaced

I am tremendously disappointed with this property and Expedia. I booked four nights with Chermside Apts 22 Thomas St Chermside. The nights were split. Always wanting to try and work out a resolution before leaving any negative comments I am not one to immediately jump on and post as things do go wrong.I have come to the conclusion this property does not deserve a second chance.Avoid at all costs as the disdain that is shown towards customers is this is not a place that is interested in customer satisfaction.Just a grab and go establishment.Grab the customers money and bye.The room was a health hazard,bathroom full of mould,this is no accident.Mould on the ceiling and bathroom tiles and a significant amount that covered most of the ceiling. There is no sorry,no resolution from Expedia or Chermside Apts,each blames the other.Apt says third party bookings must be resolved by the 3rd party which is Expedia and Expedia says they need approval from the hotel for a refund and the hotel WILL NOT approve a refund.So a merry go around.The receptionist staff were pleasant and from their response when reporting the issue,the lady didnt seem the least bit surprised so I can assume this organisations standards for cleanliness is very low.I genuinely dont like to leave poor reviews but feel others should be warned so they can spend their money somewhere else where they will enjoy a clean room and some sort of service.You wont get it here.
