Romantic accommodation in Leon Valley

Menger was not my choice. It was my half sister visiting from Germany. Most hotels are just a place to rest your head. The hotel and its history had me hook line and sinker. The area is filled with early American history and the hotel is a big part of it. I loved my stay and the visit with my sister that I only met 2 years ago thanks to a DNA site. I am 62 and she is 60 and lives in Germany. Anyway, it is a wonderful place to stay and has a lot of interesting and somewhat haunted history. I would love to visit there again someday.

It was close to attractions. One elevator was not working so the wait was long to go up or down.

Staff very friendly and professional. Continental breakfast was excellent!

Amaizing experience best hotel!

Have stayed here iften. Comfortable rooms decent hot breakfast. Great rates, paid average of 75 a nighg for a weekend stay. Almost unheard of in San Antonio.

The staff members are extremely nice. We dined at the Crockett Tavern and we loved the atmosphere.
