This was very convenient location for an overnight layover at LAX. Everything was fine and as expected with the hotel - we even got ground floor pool-facing room so could just walk outside to the pool (no time to take advantage of this though). However: 1. figuring out where to catch the airport shuttle to the hotel after landing at LAX, was not easy for first-timers - you need to find the red-painted kerbside where hotel shuttles pick-up/drop-off - the airport signage was very unhelpful so don't rely on these to direct you to the right place. 2. restaurants within the hotel were expensive. Ended up eating a 25-dollar burger which was OK but not amazing. There were no cheap eateries within easy walking distance (it being LA this may not be surprising) 3. free wifi in the hotel required joining Marriott's Bonvoy club, which was free, so we joined, but this wouldn't necessarily cause us to choose Marriott over other suppliers in future.

Great hotel, amazing staff
For those with an early flight in the AM or coming in from a cruise, this is the place to stay. They allow early check in before noon for 75$ and 12 for 40$ and by 2 complimentary check in. So worth it - especially for me when the ship kindly asks us to leave at the crack of dawn. I was so surprised for the value i got vs the price. They have a few restaurants on site, including a steakhouse and starbucks, lots of amenities and the lobby is stunning. I ordered room service. More than enough food portion wise to feed a baby army and delicious. However, what really made my stay was Kevin at check in, he made it easy, he was professional and I really felt like he went over and above. Thank you for the great stay! Will definitely come again

This is an excellent airport hotel with plenty of places to eat and drink and exercise and swim. Choice of balcony rooms or windows. Walk in shower available. Reception can be slow, and hanging space is very meagre. Pillows particularly good. Lots of seating in the foyer. Would stay again.

We had a great stay here. It was so convenient to be so close to the airport and have access to the shuttle. The staff was super friendly and being able to take a quick dip in the hot tub and have a really good dinner before heading back to LAX was great! Highly recommend!
