Housekeeping and service have gone downhill
It was not our first time at this property. We loved the space and location of the hotel but the service this trip was lacking. Housekeeping was extremely minimal- they barely touched our room. We had to ask each day for coffee and towels over a 3 day stay as they were never refilled. Glassware was never cleaned despite the room having a kitchenette. This was disappointing. Considering the hotel offers no amenities like a pool or restaurant or bar I would expect more in this area.

The concierges are all great, but Troy was outstanding. My cab was a little late and so Troy called to check on it without my having to ask. I was very grateful as I was concerned about missing my flight. He also helped in other ways. He is a born concierge. My room was nothing short of awesome. I always stay at Plaza la Reina when I come to LA since it's rooms are huge, concierges great, and a quiet, very convenient location. Well worth the price of the room and is significantly less expensive than comparable hotels in the area. What's there not to like?

This is an extremely well-maintained hotel, which is centrally-located in Westwood. This is my second stay and I've found that the staff goes above and beyond and is very friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious, offered great amenities and the hotel was quiet and really comfortable. I appreciate how the hotel locks the front door at a certain time at night and a staff member is at the desk around the clock. I felt very safe as a female staying by myself. I highly recommend staying at the Plaza La Reina!

I’m selfishly reluctant to give an honest review of Plaza La Reina because it isn’t very big and I’ll just be making it more likely to sell out in high-demand weekends. But, I’ll be honest. It’s the best place we’ve stayed in the Westwood/UCLA area. In fact, we have to visit kids at both UCLA and University of Washington, and it’s the nicest adjacent-to-campus hotel we’ve used. The rooms are large, clean and just beautiful. Parking is easy. Location can’t be beat.

This was our second stay at Plaza La Reina and I was a little let down - our room was barely cleaned. The bathmat and towels were moved and the garbage cans emptied but no coffee refilled, cups not cleared every day! I asked about it after the first day, received an apology and no change. Disappointed!!!! Just felt a little less fantastic than last time.

I stayed for five days for business trip. Troy made it a wonderful stay. He walked me from owner fancy garage where they made me pay 7.50 for parking while being checked in which was a little over 15. I also had a family emergency upon arriving and needed to cancel last day of trip. Well advance notice but greedy owner wouldn’t approve. So instead of 5 days I needed 4 days. Troy is wonderful. Thank you Troy!
