The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Parking was available only on the street which was somewhat limited. The breakfast provided was very nice but would have appreciated having a coffee machine in the room. The shower was excellent, especially for my husband who has difficulty standing. Overall it was a nice hotel within easy walking distance of restaurants yet very quiet despite its proximity to a very busy avenue.

Dingy room. Crappy bed. Overhead lighting was terrible. “Breakfast” was more unhealthy snacks from Costco. Will not return. Would not recommend.

I found multiple hair pieces in the bathroom (shower and walls). It was not properly cleaned. The floors were uneven. Parking is on the street which can be challenging. Lastly, the hotel has a sign that states no guest who are not on the reservation. This was not mentioned prior to booking online.

The room provided was on street level which was noisy and felt easily accessible to the public. Property felt very unsafe. The property was rundown and not well kept.

The entire property smelt like toilet cleaner. The lobby, bedroom, breakfast area. The room was large and clean, but not comfortable or cosy. It was as though someone had put a bed in an office. Reception area was devoid of any atmosphere. Parking was also awkward. However, staff were helpful. Good value, but you need to weigh up the negatives.

We stayed here one night with a toddler due to a medical appointment nearby. The location was excellent. Close to the Tar Pits and a fast drive to Canter’s on Fairfax.

Hotel Review: The room was spacious, but the bedding was rough, causing discomfort and making it difficult to sleep. However, we were pleased with the bathroom, particularly the extra sink outside, which allowed for hand washing when the bathroom was occupied. The absence of an elevator was quite inconvenient, especially since we had luggage. While breakfast was complimentary, the selection was very limited, and there were no boiled or scrambled eggs. Overall, I would rate the stay 3 stars.

Overall it was a decent hotel. It was in a really nice area. The pictures were definitely misleading though. The hotel was much older and more dated than it appeared in the photos. The beds were not very comfortable, but you get what you pay for I guess. We were also very surprised that there was no parking for hotel guests beyond regular street parking which was difficult to find. The included breakfast was literally just yogurt, muffins, and dry cereal. Overall decent stay, but wish we knee about the parking situation ahead of time.

Only issue was the reservation was for two double beds but instead gave us one queen bed. But they were able to accommodate by providing a cot, however I wish there wasn’t a mixup between Expedia and their hotel.
