APA normally quite good but this one is poor
This was my 2nd stay and I'm afraid it wasn't good. Firstly, I hate computer check-ins. IT experts might prove that it's faster, but there is no service, there is no human contact, no welcome, and no connection to the hotel. Loyalty and satisfaction starts with a connection. Secondly, my room was dirty. Under the bed hadn't been cleaned and the floor area was scruffy. Thirdly, the room was small - OK I was expecting this - but the usual clever storage areas for clothes, cases and other items was absent. I had to sleep with half my double bed dedicated to my cases and clothes. This is really poor. Fourthly, the hotel claims it is eco-friendly by not cleaning the room once a day, which I didn't want anyway, but the cleaners left me a bag of fresh towels and dressing gowns on my door handle every day. My small room collected 3 bags of towels! Ridiculous. Sorry, but I'm not staying here again, despite its good location. Other APA's are better. With the development going on at Takanawa Gateway, you guys (APA) need to invest in this hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located nearby Sengakuji station as well as a convenience store. I stayed in a one bedroom unit which was indeed small but was clean, quiet and served my needs well. Despite some of the negative reviews, my time was very pleasant and I found it to be good value for money. They can still store your luggage on day of check-out while you wait for your flight and the check-in process was very smooth despite having to use check-in machines. I arrived around 10pm at night and there were a number of reception staff to assist if you have any difficulties navigating check-in. Overall check-in took 5 minutes for me. I only needed to scan my passport and enter address details as I pre-paid through Expedia.

Best option if traveling to and from Hanada airport as the KK line train is downstairs from hotel directly to the airport. Rooms are a bit tiny but that’s Tokyo standard hotels in this price range.

This is a small room for a price that does not fit any prices due to the smallness of the rooms. Bed was not really confortable and if you are 5 foot 9 and up not for you. Shower feels like a small capsule and like i say if you are tall sitting down in the bathroom is challenging. In the other hand the hotel's Breakfast buffet is a must experince great variety of food 😋. Maybe if you are hungry for bkf and you are close by , the bkf will fill you up until early dinner .

Small room but very conveniently located
It will be unfair to compare Japan hotel vs others as the size of the room in general is much smaller. The location of this hotel is conveniently near to 2 subway stations and a convenient store. Room is small but it’s clean and offers the basic amenities. Price is cheaper too. I’ll recommend this hotel

Very small rooms. Barely enough room to open up a 26inch piece of luggage. If you open it up, there is no room to walk around the room. Basically, you are going there to shower, sleep and store you luggage
