We had a pleasant stay at Candeo Hotel in Shimbashi. The highlight was definitely the open sky onsen, which provided a relaxing experience. However, we felt that the amenities could be improved—particularly the lack of a toilet inside the onsen area. Our room was on the smaller side, which made it a bit tight with our daughter, but it would be comfortable enough for a couple. The location was decent, with access to nearby attractions. Overall, a good stay, but a few small improvements could make it even better.
Such a lovely hotel. The price was very reasonable, the room was comfortable and rhe public bath was really wonderful. So relaxing after a long flight. The hotel was easily accessible from Haneda airport and I enjoyed the breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.
We stayed in Japan for 14 days and visited six cities. The whole trip is excellent except the experience in this hotel. We booked three nights stayed there. But we change to another hotel next day.
very nice hotel, although the room is little bit small for family of 4. but we do enjoy of stay. specially it is located in the heart of Shimbashi. lots of bar and restaurant in the area. very busy and fun during the night.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is well located, very close to Shimbashi station from where you can get a train to almost anywhere in Tokyo. But the surroundings are not appropriate for families, specially at night, where many places of adult entertainment start operations.
Price paid was higher than what was quoted.
Facility did not have infant crib as expected.
Air conditioner quit working in the middle of one of the hottest night in Tokyo so far this year.

Property and service are excellent. Travelled with family (14 and 11 yo kids) corner room was cramped for us no closets for our luggages. Luxurious amenities, spa, toiletries including linens and pillows.
Would not recommend as family home base when in the area. Surrounded by bars but pretty much safe. Shimbashi station about 10 minute walk
This hotel is in a very convenient location, very close to Shimbashi station. There a A LOT of restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Room is very clean. Staffs are nice and friendly.
The gentleman at the front desk is very unhelpful, everything is “not possible” but when the female receptionist comes then I was able to get accommodated. Next incident same thing no accommodation any other word is “not possible” until the restaurant guy step in to help then I was able to get things done.
Everything is good except the front desk gentleman is not willing to help changing room, thanks to the guy from the restaurant who step in and help me solve the situation
My 12 yr got sick and he just wanted some fruits as he couldn’t make it to the breakfast area. Since I’ve already prepaid for breakfast, I walked in and grabbed a few pieces of fruits for my son and I got stopped half way and was told that I can’t bring any food out. Granted it’s the hotel policy but what’s a few pieces of fruits plus I’ve already prepaid for the entire breakfast? So I ended up going outside to get him breakfast but no restaurants has ‘to go’ option. I looked around for about 30-40 min then finally found 1 but you have to order thru a machine which has only Japanese. I can’t read Japanese. Finally got some help and ordered some miso soup for the sick boy but it was hell just to get take out food around the area. Had the hotel be more lenient on the breakfast policy, it won’t be such a hassle especially when you’re on vacation. I’d won’t recommend this place or area if you travel with kids.
