Very good

I liked the central location of the hotel and how close it was to the train station. There was plenty of dining options. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were exceptional.
For the price we paid, the rooms were pretty small. All other hotels are priced much better. This one just conned us into booking. Please don’t book this. Terribly small. Bad smell and left a bad taste after.
The rooms are cramped.

A Disappointing Small Room
We booked a room with a queen bed, but it was so small that we couldn't even fully open our luggage. This made it extremely difficult to organize and pack, which was quite inconvenient and disappointing.
Additionally, the public bath is not only paid but also restricted to men, which is both puzzling and disappointing.
While the staff provided good hospitality, I would still not recommend this room to any family seeking a comfortable stay in Akasaka.
Super convenient and close to many dining options. Friendly staff. Mostly, we were just left alone to do our own thing, which was nice. Perfect for one person in the room. Walls are a little thin, but after a long day touring the city, you’re sound asleep anyway.

The hotel is old and not well maintained. In my room, there was torn wallpaper, the pipes rattled when flushed (I would think loud enough to disturb neighboring rooms), and the battery compartment for the bidet controls was broken and taped shut, which did not hold while I was there. In addition, they disable the AC during the winter. They told me since it was cold outside I could just open the window but then you would smell the restaurants from down below. I stayed in three other hotels on this trip and none of them had the AC disabled. Clearly hotel ownership is not willing to spend any money to fix the simplest things so who knows what else they skimp on. That being said, these are not deal breakers. Just things to know before booking this hotel. If these things don't really bother you, then at least you won't be disappointed upon arrival. It is otherwise a decent place to lay your head in a convenient location with a vibrant nightlife but not noisy when going to bed.
The 3 minute walk to the metro was super convenient The staff is welcoming, kind and courteous. The bathroom is very clean and the following were provided: shampoo, conditionel, body wash, face cleanser and body cream. Laundry room is convenient but don't forget to bring your own soap (you can also buy at the reception). The matress does the job but if your style of travelling is being out all day, this shouldn't be a huge issue as you will be too tired to care. I liked the area as it's lively but safe (a lot of business man and women). Only downside is the pillows are flat but I'm not sure if it's Japanese standard (I'm from Canada) and the standard for a Queen bed is 2 pillows (we were 2 people). We did ask for another pair and this was provided promptly.
Everything was good, but the room was extremely hot, we couldn’t adjust the heater so we had to turn it off and open the windows. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, very friendly and helpful staff, great location.
This property was great! I don’t know what to expect based on reviews but I had a pleasant experience. The bathrooms were small but serviceable, they had seat warmers and bidets. House cleaning was prompt and very good at their job. The front desk spoke English to assist with needs. The area is excellent! There are literally hundreds of restaurants close and multiple subway stations and bus stops. Harry Potter museum is less than a 10 min walk. I highly recommend this facility.
